McVay’s saying Kiser is day to day is what he said about Cam Akers, and he has missed two weeks.
Perhaps out of an abundance of caution against what was considered a very weak opponent this week? Two threads the same comment or did I miss other threads? Akers out for two weeks really seems to have you upset.

Day to day can become two weeks when you're dealing with a painful injury that isn't healing as quickly as hoped. Plus, I expect that Henderson breaking out encouraged them to let Akers get as healthy as possible. Kiser might be back this week, or he might be out a couple weeks. It all depends on how he feels and how his injury progresses. All "day to day" means is that they don't have a timeline that definitively rules him out for weeks. It doesn't guarantee that he's back immediately.

Getting a little thin @ the reserveOT posts.

With OT's Noteboom & Evans out one would think that OT/OG rookie Tremayne Anchrum saw an HD amount of practice time plus at both OT posts in addition he should be very sore after Thursday's regular day off for Whitworth. Do you really think that Demby would get work @ the OT posts?

The 6-5 300lbs Coleman Shelton might have had some RT snaps too with Brian Allen/ Cohl Cabral & Jeremiah Kolone working the interior posts.

You also have Edwards that can move out and somebody else slot in at OG.

True ....Rams have a large cadre of interior OL'ers available if need be.

Not so sure they would move Edwards outside unless it was for most of the game. But Anchrum would be a much better fit @ Edwards LG post & so would Coleman Shelton. Sure would weaken up that blindside of the Ol with 2 new replacements @ LT & LG.

Absolutely we're talking worst case scenarios here anyways. But yeah Edwards and Anchrum in any combination on the left side is a downgrade. As would be any of the other options at LG with Edwards at LT.

Health department

McVay said the Rams will wait to see if outside linebacker Terrell Lewis is ready to be activated this week. Lewis has been on the non-football-injury reserve list since Sept. 9 with a knee problem but began practicing again last week.

Linebacker Micah Kiser (strained groin and pectoral muscle), linebacker Kenny Young (knee), offensive lineman and special teams player Bobby Evans (shoulder) didn’t practice Wednesday. Running back Cam Akers (ribs) and safety Jordan Fuller (shoulder) practiced after missing Sunday’s win over the Giants.

I tend to get overzealous and post them in the other injury thread as well but keep on posting!

That's not how it went last week.

Both Kiser and Young have sat out practice this week though. either Natrez or Hollins will at least be our 3rd ILB Sunday with 1 of our 2 starters banged up as well.
