With regard to Brian Allen I hadn’t been so high on a Center draft pick since Barrett Jones, the previous one drafted? lol. (I inexplicably really thought that was a heist)

I actually based this off of his wrestling background figuring he knew a thing or two about leveraging an opponent, I wouldn’t quite slam the door just yet but the odds are definitely not in Allen’s favor

Crap, I rarely go 0 for 2 :censored:

A stud center would just really change everything

If Allen had displayed that he was good at some part of the position then maybe, but I didn't see anything encouraging that gives me hope. I was not crazy about the Barrett Jones pick just because of his injury. Lis Franc injury can be very difficult to return from in full health. Its ruined a few baseball careers and I'd argue an NFL linemen puts more pressure on his feet than a pitcher.

I didn’t want to call you any too harsh as I usually like and agree with your posts. But in this case I just think you’re off your rocker.

I need to read the rule book. There was only reason for putting a shoulder into Wolfords helmet AFTER he had already hit the turf. And I don’t forgive Adams any just because he spoke to Wolford after the hit.

Big injury questions. Donald's ribs, K.upp's knee, Edwards left the game,, Akers took himself out.

I feel like Evans really started playing better as the game went on but those other injuries loom big
I think Akers is fine but will spend a good bit of time in an ice tub after this one. I choose to be positive on AD. He won't practice this week but I'd bet he'll find a way to play next week. Wolford seems to be fine as well. I don't feel too good about Kupp though. I hope I'm wrong on him.

Really hope Wolf is ok. Heard plenty of stories of people fracturing a vertebrae in their neck unknowingly and then turning the wrong way and it completely breaks and kills them. They should have put him in a neck collar and stretcher from the start. Like he was in the back of the ambulance.

Plenty, really? I ever heard of anything like that in my life, but ok.

I'm sorry, feeling the effects of some low quality scotch. Didn't he start off with Whit would never play again then did a back pedal with "this season" then back pedaled even more with he may be back for the playoffs?

Sorry, feeling a little salty after todays win. It is still taken me thre or four edits to get my spelling right......Dam n you Johnny Walker Black!

You must have not attended emt/paramedic school. It's called a hangman's fracture.

"In many cases, the spinal cord escapes injury when hangman’s fracture occurs. At the moment of impact, a hangman’s fracture results in increased space surrounding the spinal cord, thus avoiding immediate compression and injury to the spinal cord. This is a fairly unique feature of this injury. However, the fracture can be very unstable. Without treatment, the bones may shift, leading to increasing deformity that can result in serious damage to the spinal cord or progressive pain. If the spinal cord is damaged, symptoms can include pain, sensory loss, weakness, paralysis, and/or death."

Here I am, showing up like a man to eat tons of crow.
I was wrong. I said he'd probably not play again this season. I said at the very most he'd come back and try in the playoffs and play for only 1 half a game at the most. I was wrong. I admit it. (I'm so glad I was wrong because he helped a lot today, even though it was overly obvious he was no where near 100%)

The crow I am a eatin.
