This thread is reminding me of one facet of human nature.

Namely, that some people don’t deal well when presented with uncomfortable facts or theories.

They prefer attacking the messenger to confronting the specific topics presented.

Not unlike ostriches trying to hide their head in the sand. Lol.

Look, I’m not saying all is hopeless in future seasons. I still believe in Snead and McVay.

But I AM saying that mistakes have been made in multiple areas and that they need to be corrected asap.

Bro most of what you posted here is opinion not facts.

Which is fine... but ya don't call them facts.

I think nothing works when the Oline is in shambles.
And there you have it folks.

If you can't sustain a drive.
If you can't convert 3rd downs.
If you don't win the field position battle.

It leaves your defense on the field too long and by the fourth quarter they're pretty winded.

That said I think we're about ready to field our most veteran line of the year;

Neshke LT
Skura
Allen
Aboushi
Havenstein
(I think all these guys are healthy but hard to keep track)

Depending on the quarterback play and the game plan should pull us out a win at least.

Very true...but it is allowed for our own D to pitch some 3 and outs as well. It's not like our defense has been playing murderers row of late and they still allow teams to go on week long drives way too often.

So what we have is a team not playing complimentary football as we are pairing an offense that can't stay on the field with a "bend but don't break defense" that can't get off the field. Not a good combo.

Nah. Not everyone buys into your overly dramatic essays about elephants in rooms, exposed coaches, and painting corners.

If our 0-line was even 75% healthy every single one of these opinions would be farts in the wind.

You win in the trenches, you lose in the trenches.

Our season is horrible for one reason, our 0-line sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, because of injuries alone.

Long term future is looking less than optimal. But next year is doable. Acquire some experienced linemen who don't have an injury history and they should get back to respectable. Its that simple.

But after that its questionable. The following year quite a few core players will be in their 30's. I think maybe they should stop trading their early picks and try to build some young talent. Stafford has a few year left but its possible they have another year like this one before he's done.

The Rams sold out to win a Super Bowl at home in their fancy new digs. It was the plan to go for it while they were planning their leave from the Lou.
They did it.
Now get back to drafting most of your stars and get back to dominate O line play.
Draft big men with long arms and quick feet.

No, you’re just wrong.

The team is struggling due to injuries.

The team would not be perfect without the injuries, but a perfect team with our injuries would struggle too.

Sorry if simple concepts of cause and effect elude you.

Please spare us your self-aggrandizement.

The fact is that the Rams, especially the O, didn't even look good in their very first game. And it's only gotten worse.

100% man.

People see arguing on clips on social media or TV and they parrot them like little kids thinking “if you’re not with me then you’re my enemy, you have to think EXACTLY like me”

Both can be true, the offense sucks ass and Raheem calls a shit scheme.

Snead/McVay have hit gems and they also draft/trade(attempt) idiotically.

This is the result of not investing in the ‘what if’s’ scenarios. I doubt it will cost either their jobs but they need a stern talking to.
( and coming from a person telling people to fuck off on firing Snead to when Fisher was fired)

When the Rams took the field for the opening drive of the game, I looked at #s 64, 63 and 68, and thought Matt Skura, Oday Aboushi and Ty Nsekhe are starting on the O-Line.

An hour later, I’m watching one of them being carted off the field; and I’m thinking … “Oh No, we’ve lost Nsekhe.”

Ty Nsekhe.

There’s a message there about perspective.

Yeah but when you see Evans coming in to replace Ty Nsekhe, you are going to say "Oh No, we've lost Nsekhe"

Kinda like your defensive defense posts… put then they started playing like utter dogshit like the offense, except against utter horrible competition.

One day, maybe one day, you might hear the pop and become some football guru you project yourself out to be.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit... I'm a fan on a Rams board.
Learned a lot from plenty of posters on here and will keep learning.
Read/listen to a decent amount of outside stuff too.. mostly stuff I can learn a little from.

Hot takes/reactionary stuff/groupthink... are all things that I react poorly to. It's a worldview thing.

I laughed at your post because you couldn't go with "The defense is bad", no.. to you.. it's "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!!!"... and that's just a bit at this point, to me. If you don't see that the problems on D yesterday were much, much, much more about execution than scheme OR personnel (my favorite bitching point on D is the personnel issues.. but they had good enough players on the field to win yesterday).. it's because you're stuck in a narrative.

But.. hey.. it's a FAN BOARD... you're not paid for your bad opinions.

It’s been a tough season Stafford getting hurt sucks sucks sucks a long with Kupp ect…..

IMO - The Rams will be better in the long run because of it though. Makes the coaching staff & plYers dig deeper just to be competitive

LMAO - don’t agree, except for the getting OBJ & Von Miller.Bobby Trees getting hurt would have hurt without OBJ.
—The O’Line ?? You really believe that ? Expect a long off season then,or a long couple of seasons.

Don’t agree with that.

Here is FACT in 2022 season.

The Rams were 2-1 so how that is worse than 0-1 is PURE BS!
