Are we really witnessing a reasonable approach?

I do credit McVay starting this dialog this past Monday after the game. He questioned why asymptotic people are not able to play.

Man what a great coach and just a good man.
It's been brewing for a while now, people have been reporting for a month or more that players wanted to change the protocols.

This is a positive change in a direction that makes perfect sense. Great news on many levels to see them tailor the approach appropriately to the problem.

It's too funny you go on social media and reddit (I know don't read those kind of idiots) comments on this and it's about 99% "NFL is greedy" and nothing about the players. The players pushed the NFLPA to do this and the NFL couldn't have done it without the NFLPA. Yet it's all the NFL's fault. It's almost like they don't acknowledge players getting paid and the more the NFL makes the more the players make. They're tied at the hip in greed and some forget this fact.

Yeah and I am hoping in this situation the league helps popular opinion start to at least consider that maybe we're overdoing some shit in relation to this pandemic. Of course first we're gonna have to survive media overreaction and demonizing and politicizing of all this. Good times. But hopefully we'll get there. :thumbsup1:

Good to see some come off the list, but I'm a bit frightened by Boom going on the list and Havenstein not getting off the list. Really hope one of them is back off list by Tuesday

Something I find interesting…

The Cardinals were in close contact with several Rams who tested positive the next day.

Cardinals on the COVID list: 1 (Center Rodney Hudson).

Similarly the Browns’ and WFT’s last opponents (Baltimore, Dallas) each have only one player on their COVID lists.

Will those lists grow in the next week, or does this suggest that there is a low on-field transmission rate?
It can take 2 weeks to show up

So 29 on the COVID-List to start today (Saturday).

Six come-off the List, including OBJ, Deayon, Hollins and Henderson.

Two are added, including Noteboom.

29 - 6 + 2 = 25 on Saturday Night.

Most significant positions impacted (in my opinion) are:
RT ... Havenstein and the top two likely replacements ... Noteboom and Evans
TE ... where only Blanton and Hopkins are eligible at the moment
D-Backfield ... where there are ten players currently on the COVID-List

Among the 10 DBs are Rochell (IR) and four PS defensive backs.

The most significant DBs on the List are Ramsey and Fuller but like RT, two of the potential back-ups to Fuller are also on the List (Burgess and Hughes).

Rams still have Sunday, Monday and maybe Tuesday to get some players off-the-List. If Ramsey and Higbee could go on the COVID-List the morning of Monday Night's game against the Cardinals, I would think (Hope) some players could come-off the List on Tuesday morning.

Of course, like with Noteboom today, there can also be additions to the List.

Daily fucking revolving-door.

By-the-way, the Rams added four players to their PS ... a PK and LS, plus two CBS with NFL-experience in Damarious Randall and Greg Stroman

In the past hour. the Rams site was up-dated to reflect three more PS-additions ... one DB and two OL.

Well my hope is one of the RT's, Higs, and Ramsey back by Tuesday. If that happens we got lucky.

The most telling thing I heard from KD, these guys even the ones displaying mild symptoms would be playing any other time if we weren’t dealing with a covid issue.

Next, someone is making a hell of a lot of money related to the testing and the NFL
