Walter's Football did a grade on the Cooks re-signing and gave it a C- . The main reason for the low grade? He claims that Cooks is a locker room cancer. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I haven't. I wonder where he got that info.

Also .. if you want to compare Cooks to someone, Look no farther than Antonio Brown. Everything from his measurables, his stat lines, etc.
C'mon guys, Walterfootball is an absolute joke, thought we were all on the same page here.

There's no coming back from his "Why Jimmy Clause deserves to be the no.1 overall pick" rant. Anyone who couldn't see that noodle arm from a mile away needs to go back to the drawing board.

Was just going to say that. His assessment on Jared Goff was just as stupid.

i think he started having a little bit of a whinge in new orleans when games would go by where he wasn't targeted once. that's probably where that rumour comes from.

Yeah, he made a 'closed mouths don't get fed' comment after the Saints/Rams game which the Saints won 49-21, but he didn't have a catch.

Wasn't an issue for his teammates or coaches and it blew over quickly, but no surprise Walter Football would latch onto it and dub him a poor locker room guy.

The problem as reported by Ian Rappaport was not just catches but Brees' inability to throw the deep ball:
"Internally, when Payton discussed the issue with Cooks, the receiver never left satisfied. The longtime coach pacified the issue, telling Cooks he'd get targets. And the following week he did -- a season-high seven catches the next week. But Cooks felt the elephant in the room -- Brees' arm strength not enabling him to find Cooks deep -- couldn't be talked about on any level."

That won't be an issue with Goff.

I am not saying Walter football is anything to take serious. My question was, if any of the locker room cancer stuff has come out anywhere else? It was the first time I had heard any of that nonsense, so was just wondering. that's all.

Ok, thanks. I had not heard any of that. That is why I was asking.

That's surprising. My antenna were up and listening his being anything like a "locker room cancer," and I never heard it. When all of the "experts" were talking about the signings this offseason, they mentioned Suh, Peters and Talib as being a deadly mixture....but nothing on Cooks in that way.
Yeah. Same as what I have heard. I have no idea where WF gets half of their shyt info.

That figure is a bit misleading. He’s actually getting around to 14 per year.
