Yes it wasn't a typical interview for a football player. It could be he just isn't comfortable speaking on camera and it could be something to get over and he can be coached to get there. That should not at all affect his draft stock and the rumors that it affected some teams enough to take him completely off their boards is wild speculation and if a team really did that they deserve to be bad. To call that character concerns is also wild. That's legal issues drug issues and shit like that. Speaking issues or just being goofy are not character concerns.
Again, not the Combine presser (which, honestly, I don’t give two shits about; it’s almost impossible to bomb a Combine presser since that’s the one thing every player that has ever been there has been drilled on constantly), but the interviews he did with teams are what’s getting him dinged.

And again, just the fucking messenger, sharing the information I can get.

Alegedly

You're saying the guy has character concerns yet again based on absolutely zero evidence. He's not the first player you've done this to and won't be the last.

Allegedly bombing an interview is absolutely not a character concern not sure what's hard to figure out with this. You're a messenger for unconfirmed random allegations from somebody on the internet.

Unless you're the doctor that did his knee surgery and see that it is somehow tied to his hamstring, I don't even know how you can make that comment. I don't know how many times NFL players with no injury history have literally pulled the hamstring. Stop acting like soft tissue injuries aren't a thing in the NFL.

Unless someone here has access to his medicals, no way to know if the 2 are even related. His knee injury happened in 2022 so its tied to something that happened 3 years prior? Too funny. I'll let the Rams medical team deal with that question.
The same can be said for any of us. If someone says they're concerned, it should mean just that. And also, that concern can very easily describe some one who doesn't have that information - good or bad. After all, you are not concerned and you also don't have that information. We only have what we read and I'm thinking if a team HAS seen that info, they are not sharing it with the media OR teams they are competing with for draft pics.

So yeah... his injury history concerns me as it does quite a few others. And obviously players with clean injury histories get injured in the NFL. We probably won't know what doctors say in evaluating his health before the draft so here we are making our cases for why we want certain players or don't want others. Most of us will be wrong. All things being equal, he seems like a very good pick. But if there is something there that none of us know about, it would potentially be a very bad pick.

If he's even there when the Rams pick, we may have our answer. If there are no medical concerns by NFL teams, it doesn't seem he has a chance in hell of making it to 13.

Guys like Jordan Addison and Justin Blackmon had similar questions about their character at the time of their Combine. James Pierce? Same thing. I am seriously only bringing news and what I’ve seen to you from Fehoko that has been echoed by other scouts and media personalities in the know, including arguably the single most tapped in major media personality in McShay - and you’re passively aggressively shitting on me for what I’ve seen, for bringing back something for the whole board, something that you could literally look up to know I’m not lying.

I’m telling you guys what I’ve seen around the net - and what people like McShay - has said, nothing more, nothing less. I keep telling you not to shoot the fucking messenger, I keep telling you that if Lemon is the pick, I’ll accept that the Rams did their best research and vetting and will be wholeheartedly for it, but apparently, that’s no longer good enough.

And fucking name when I said a player had character issues when those concerns weren’t justified, either before or after the Draft. You can’t - because I never - fucking - did.
Oh, well comparing Lemon to James Pierce is a choice.

I don't think it was the interview we all saw clips of that allegedly scared teams off. I thought I recalled it being the in person interviews with some teams. I had read that his attitude was what turned off some teams - even that he seemed disinterested in practices. That could be considered a character issue if it sent up a red flag. However, I can't find anything that asserts that he was a problem in college aside from someone I've never heard of offering up some vagueries.

Justin Blackmon

Now there was a Jeff Fisher player if ever there was one.

Ahh well, he had to settle for Brian quick in the 2nd round. Even though there was a perfectly good LT sitting there for the Rams when they really needed one.

.

I’m far from comparing them. I said that James Pearce also had bad interviews without any legal issues and why teams are rightfully wary. That’s the entire extent of the comparison.

His coach, Lincoln Riley, benched him (and Ja’Kobi Lane) for a violation of teams rules in college in 2025 (albeit for one quarter). Not necessarily a problem, but something to think about.

I've also said multiple times in other posts that as long as his medicals check out whereas some just are stuck on he tore his ligaments 4 years ago. Every player should be checked out medically from head to toe and assessed as these teams are making huge investments. With that said, anyone that has seen this kid's tape can see he's got some serious skill. We will definitely not know until draft day what those medicals truly are because teams are most definitely not going to share what they think, its lying season after all lol.... I guess I'm just not scared off from the most current injuries as none are career enders at all. The way I look at it, every player is a risk taken. I wanna go after the WR that pops the most on tape and that is Tyson.
