Biggest winner today was McVay.
Really committed to the run and keeping things balanced.
Even when there weren’t big gains there he stuck with it.
Makes the play action and roll outs work.
Pleasantly surprised by the OL.
Held up well pass blocking in most cases, although McVay really protected them.
Have to watch the replay, which I will today in full, but it seemed some good work done overall by Noteboom and Havenstein.
The Eagles OL was destroyed by Washington yesterday.
Can’t wait to see Donald and Co against them next week.
For the most part our OLB seem to have no moves.
Just a bull rush. Maybe that was to help keep Dak in the pocket?
Polite showed up with a nice speed rush and got a hand on Dak late.
Floyd with a sack.
Kiser missed some plays, reacting very slowly at times, but made some good reads and plays as well.
I expect the tackling to improve as guys get into game shape.
We aren’t going to miss Cooks at all.
Cam ran very much like a rookie.
Not patient, he ran hard but mostly straight into traffic. Let himself get held up and took a couple of big shots from a safety.
Brown showed his experience running the ball and had a nice game.
Fuller played like a rookie too.
Gave some stuff up, missed some tackles but made a huge tackle for a fourth down stop when Dallas strangely went for it on fourth down instead of kicking a FG (and costing me a fantasy loss by 2 points.....bastards).
Sloman over cane a jittery and slow start and found his groove.
Team was more prepared than any team in the Fisher years week one.
I expect the OL and D to grow and improve as the season progresses.
The OL played with much more intent and had a physical nature running the ball.
Great team win in a pretty physical game.
