I really don't think there is much of a market for Mannion

We should have claimed Kyle Sloter.

I am a fan of Sloter too. He was impressive in preseason. Broncos may regret taking Osweiler over him as the backup. Allen is a good consolation for not getting Sloter though. I like both.

Every team needs to be 3 deep at QB and I am glad they went another route.

I'm not sure about This^! OK. sign a 3rd QB to the Practice Squad, but to bring in a 3rd QB when we need Depth for our O-Line and D-Line seems to be a mistake! JMHO!

I agree, not right now. But look what could have been if we kept that LT, what's his name. Such a distant memory now. He could have, I said could have pulled in a better offer with the other LT's going down.

So, let's see what happens comes the following weeks. If a QB goes down, we have some leverage.

He has to be signed to the 53 man roster so we have another cut coming and Manion isn't PS eligible. So three QB's it is!

I agree. There is zero upside in Brock. I didn't think he was even that good during his original cameo with the Broncos. They had to put in an over the hill Manning just to win games.

And why would you trade your backup QB at this stage of the game. Injuries do happen in the NFL. Trading a guy that knows the system if Goff goes down is silly.

He has the highest QB Rating in SEC history.....and if he's in his 2nd year..that means that Olson worked with him last year with the Jags.

OK, Farr be it! I fixed it!! BUT!! Allen can't go on the PS, he was picked-up off waiver's so he has to be signed to the regular roster! That is why I said they should have signed one to the PS.

Sure? He was released. He wasn't on their practice squad. I think we could put him on 53 and then cut him, let him clear waivers, and put him on PS, probably like Jax was trying to do. They may well pick him back up though if we did that.

I don't think it's doubt so much as someone they can develop. Mannion is a Fisher type QB, McVay might want someone else. Develop this guy, and next year Mannion goes elsewhere via trade or possibly cut.

To be fair Goff and Mannion are both Fisher type QBs. Do you think McVay would of got Goff if he was the coach prior to Goff coming into the league?
