Now that doesn't sound very Scottish.Steak fajitas this week I think. Will do a home made salsa and guacamole too. Will eat during the early games as we are a 9pm kick off here.
The steak is cow lung and intestines brined in oatmeal. The salsa has Scotch Bonnets and is made with the peaty runoff from a distillery. Now

anchovies are under rated.Snagged a plain, cheese take'n bake pizza - so I can jack it up myself.
Scored some little fish toppings, at the grocery store.... Anchovies.
Gonna watch the game and go back to my childhood, at the same time!![]()

Is that Scottish enough for you?
Yeah... but meat and potatoes every week would get boring. Now that doesn't sound very Scottish.
I used them in an amazing bolognese I made this week. Adds a great, umami flavor to pretty much anything you use it in. Same goes for fish sauce. That stuff reeks on its own, but is amazing in soups.anchovies are under rated.
I add them to a lot of simmering sort of dishes....beef shanks, sauces etc.
What is a country bobs please?I’ve got some meatballs and Country Bob’s but not sure if I will make that this weekend or next.
