Could it be scheme/play calling? Rams pass rush was shit first half, then smothered allen most of second half.

Super proud of this team and Goff. We outplayed them and regardless of the result, we were the better team IMO.

Yes the defense played bad, but they woke up after halftime and had multiple sacks and two turnovers.

The PI is karma, no other way to look at it. It happens.

The two third and longs on that last drive sucked but, love the fight of this team

Oh, I understand that. Between those, and the fact that this years rules prohibited staying out east for the week, I'm sure it mattered. But I'm all about the mindset that you have to accept the things you can't change, and roll with it.

is there amy way to prepare for 2 cross country games in 7 days? Normal circumstances dictate that the Rams would stay on East coast for a week, but not allowed under Covid-19 protocols.

It is allowed that teams can stay during the week on back to back travel weeks. McVay choose not based on his research.

Oh, yeah, and there's also the Terrells to consider. I'd say that Hill just lost his job; Burgess and Long should be competing for the nickel spot.

And then there's Terrell Lewis. Once he comes back, I'd love to see the kind of havoc he and Polite can wreak on the edge.

I wanted that win BAD. But I am having a hard time getting all upset about this game.

Heck of a performance in the end. Some calls went our way some obviously went against us. We had a shot to win on the road traveling to the east coast for a 10am game which is the hardest thing for west coast teams to do in the NFL.

I know a few things though, first the game is much more enjoyable watching it without the GDT. It's sad reading that thread tbh.

Jared is the man no questions about it sorry if you have some save your breath don't even mention them.

People in here were questioning Hendo's ability to be an NFL running back. They couldn't understand how he didn't take over for Gurley last year. They thought he was too small. He couldn't be the guy if we spent a draft pick on Akers. Hendo is legit and you should really stop with these generalizations and shitting on a guy before he's even had a chance to do his thing. He's a baller.

Same goes for Kiser, dudes legit.

The hate for Sloman is comical. Please keep it up, I can't wait for the threads bashing him that we'll see all year long. And before you pile on him just remember the one person that voices their displeasure with him the most and then think before posting. Or not it's fun either way.

Taylor Rapp had a good day, those signaling his end with the Rams or as a starter need to think again. Next year our 3 safety setup will be Rapp, Burgess and Fuller. Get used to those names, until we draft the guy to replace Rapp when his contract is up.

Corbett was a hell of a trade.

Ramsey even with his couple of screw ups was a hell of a trade.

We might have the best WR/TE group in the league.

McVay started off slow in the 1st half so did Staley. Both earned their checks in the 2nd half.

And lastly I can't wait for all the stupid threads made all week talking about signing or trading for player X to replace one of our starters. They're great entertainment please don't let me down.

Proud of this team and we're still in great shape.

But about that game, I'm proud of the way we battled back. Goff is growing up, Henderson is amazing, and we almost beat a tough Buffalo team.

Am I disappointed? Yeah, I am. But it's only one game.

Plenty of highlights and positives to be had -- didn't get the W but after the first half I thought we may be blown away. If we play like we did in the second half for the remainder of the season we will be hard to beat ....

I thought there was a chance we could be 8-0 going into the Bye Week if we won this game. Well, had we pulled it out, I would have felt we could do it. Sitting here now, if we take care of business against the lesser teams coming up (it's the NFL, so you can never say for sure), we should be 6-2 or 7-1 heading into our Bye. This team is legit. I don't know if we have the horses to win a Super Bowl, but we're not a team to be underestimated. People wrote us off because of all we lost, but at the end of the day, if you have a great HC and a franchise QB, you'll always be able to go far in this league.

This sucks but Rams showed they are legit. 2nd qrt Def meltdown killed them.... Maybe back to back road trips kicked in a bit there, but they regrouped and should have won the gane a few times.

Still, to get to that super team status they need to get a more athletic front. Should have sacked Allen more than they did on that last drive.

It's Donald and the try hard guys. Need more quick twitch pass rush types in next yrs draft.

I love that the refs gave Allen a personal foul for throwing a tantrum after Donald tossed him like a sack of potatoes. (It was the other sack where he fumbled.)

Heavier blitz scheme and an edge rusher can easily fix the third and long breakdowns and give our DBs help.

I feel like our safeties lost us this game. They were in the area of the big plays. They just failed to react or reacted late. That big catch by Beasley, both guys were right there. One slipped. And the other waited for Beasley to come to him. Idk if one of the linebackers were supposed to cover the middle or if it was a man to man with 2 deep safeties but he shouldn’t of been by himself in the middle of the field.
