The Rams DL underperformed against the Texans. The Texans were out players and started rookies yet only allows 3 sacks.

The Broncos got I think 6 Sacks in Game 1 against the Titans. Hopefully we do better.

Yes, they get a win against a good team, a playoff team possibly. Any win is a good win in this league. However, the offense looks exactly the same as last year, same 3 guys being used over and over. No creativity, no McVay specials, no hurry up, just the same plodding along. I can't wait to see how they respond in the 2nd game this year. Go, Rams!

I thought the D-Line played well; and the pressure on Stroud was good. He's a mobile QB and got rid of the ball quickly on a number of plays. I think it's much more about the pressure and Stroud did not have much time to throw the ball.

Three sacks and seven QB hits are good numbers. Three sacks per-game would be 51 for the season.
Only three teams exceeded that total last year; and the Rams had just 38 sacks in 2024.

To be fair to the Texans, I thought that their rookie tackle, Ersery, acquitted himself well. They tried to not let Verse beat them (even going so far as to triple-team him on some snaps), got Stroud into a rhythm with quick passes, and they still got to him three times. I thought that it was a great gameplan by Nick Caley, their OC.

Titans O-line has its weak points, but they're still a solid unit. I hope we do better against them as well, but the best thing we can do against any team is get ahead by multiple scores; that opens up our lethal pass-rush and makes us deadly.

If our biggest weakness, IOL, can somehow handle their DTs we should win this easily.

I agree with this. The play calling on offense should have involved more players. Where was Ferguson? Why draft a running back in the past two years if you're not going to use either?

Why draft running backs if your not going to use them? Why buy insurance if your not going to use it.
Last year was the first time our RB room didn't get beat up since Gurley.

Got one word for this Titans game: contain.

I don't want to see any BS inside stunts by Verse. Contain the fucking edge, keep that kid QB in the pocket, and crank the heat way up.

The game plan with Stroud was to get the ball out quick and Rams lost contain on him a few times.

If one of those two doesn't happen this game we should see a nice uptick.

Teaching them to block, maybe? RB's don't play much if they can't block for the QB in play action.
