When it's Seattle, I THINK STAFFORD'S EXTRA SHARP...
Orlovsky just talked about this on NFL Live. We HAVE to be better on this. Carolina got us with some of the same pressure looks. Seattle is going to have their slot corners coming from all over the place. IMO if we handle these pressure looks well, we will score 35+.I think my number one concern right now on offense is that we haven’t been great handling the blitz the last 2 games, especially nickel pressure off the edge. We’ve had miscommunication in the passing game and some protection break downs. Macdonald is the very best coach in the league at disguising blitzes and using sim pressures. We are really going to have to be on our A game there. Because they will have 5 and 6 DBs on the field at a time and anywhere from 1-3 of them are going to be coming on every single play.
I hope it's Young, Verse and Kobie doing the testing in a violent way.I sure hope Shula is planning on dialing things up to test out Darnold's Oblique, early and often
Agree, he is reading too much into it. Rams & Seattle know each other well so it's going to require some change ups in the tendancies. There's times where I want to choke Cowherd but I have to admit he's got good instincts in his opinions. So when I see his show cross my feed on youtube I'll often tune in.
Personally I think he's reading too much into Seattle's dominant win over SF. The Rams pushed them around as well in the last one and they were more injured than prior in the playoff loss.
Rams and Seahawks know each other well. The gameplanning will be fully understood right now even though it's just Tuesday, because all the players have to get up on is the gameplan wrinkles. This is going to be physical and downright nasty. This is going to be a trenches game. And as NFCCG matchups go, I'd say it's about as good as we could hope for. Way easier matchup than going to Detroit the other year was.
Also the Rams are so battle tested. They're mentally tough. I'd say a fair take is edge to Seattle because they're at home. But this is damn near a pick'em game.
We figured out what you were talking about bro....if I could only spell.![]()
And lack of mistakes.Mistakes will likely make the difference in this one
He is a lot smaller and can't take the same beating. I see a fumble in the future.Regarding that injury, using Shaheed on designed runs may mitigate that a bit because Shaheed is really dangerous.
Games like the Hawks had can fuck with their heads. Make them get a little full of themselves. The Rams just have to weather the 1st quarter and all the emotion. Come out and get a couple of good drives under their belts before the shitbirds realize it aint going to be so easy. Go Rams.I'm thinking the same thing.... Rams offense will need 30 plus points to beat the buzzards. It looks likes the buzzards offense is clicking on all cylinders.
Lesser opponents? Seahawks were division champs. Don’t buy your logic or lack there of.Usually a team rallies around each other when an injury occurs, and the other team relaxes..... Rams have been known to play down to lesser opponents.... So I don't see an advantage.
