Orlovsky just talked about this on NFL Live. We HAVE to be better on this. Carolina got us with some of the same pressure looks. Seattle is going to have their slot corners coming from all over the place. IMO if we handle these pressure looks well, we will score 35+.

I see some assuming this game will be high scoring...

Thats misleading...the first game only had 40 total points and with 8 min left the first game was at 46...

Personally I think he's reading too much into Seattle's dominant win over SF. The Rams pushed them around as well in the last one and they were more injured than prior in the playoff loss.

Rams and Seahawks know each other well. The gameplanning will be fully understood right now even though it's just Tuesday, because all the players have to get up on is the gameplan wrinkles. This is going to be physical and downright nasty. This is going to be a trenches game. And as NFCCG matchups go, I'd say it's about as good as we could hope for. Way easier matchup than going to Detroit the other year was.

Also the Rams are so battle tested. They're mentally tough. I'd say a fair take is edge to Seattle because they're at home. But this is damn near a pick'em game.

Agree, he is reading too much into it. Rams & Seattle know each other well so it's going to require some change ups in the tendancies.

When you think about it, the Rams are probably the most battle tested. Over the last two years......and I realize not everybody has been here the last 2 years........we've played a 14-3 team in the Wild Card (at home), a 15-3 team in the snow in Philly, in the weather in Carolina against a feisty 8-9 team (okay not such a huge test), a 12-6 team in the snow and weather in Chicago. And now we get another 15-3 team on the road. That's a lot of good teams in their environment. But this should feel warmer than a trip up to Santa Clara......but we'll find out for sure in a few weeks.

I’m not sure the seagulls game plan is to blitz a ton in this one. I think they’re uber confident in just rushing four and puffing out their chests right now.
 
Walker is a much more dynamic RB and is on fire right now. They can ride him for 1 game. I don't think this injury hurts them unless they fall behind (Charbs is the better pass protector), or if Walker gets hurt (and he is indeed injury prone). The more he sees the field, the worse for us. Not sure this injury actually benefits us. Hopefully we can jump out to a lead. Darnold having to throw a lot more than they want, with an oblique injury, and their best pass blocking RB out, would be huge.

Games like the Hawks had can fuck with their heads. Make them get a little full of themselves. The Rams just have to weather the 1st quarter and all the emotion. Come out and get a couple of good drives under their belts before the shitbirds realize it aint going to be so easy. Go Rams.

Lesser opponents? Seahawks were division champs. Don’t buy your logic or lack there of.
 
Well...there's no doubt Seattle has looked at both games with the Panthers and Bears to pick up something. Trouble is...the Rams are looking at it too so they can clean up and prepare.

Some things are already in place. Just like in the Bears game adjustments. Particularly blitzes. Remember the 3rd & 6 in overtime vs the Bears? They blitzed that time and Puka was the hot read and picked up 16 yards. Those type of "in game" adjustments will allow you to burn the blitz.

I already know McVay, Stafford and the WRs are working on such things. I'll definitely be watching Stafford to see how he audibles Sunday.
