I think the coaches on the Rams are waiting for Forbes to have another one of those games were he was flying all over the place knocking balls out of mid-air.
But he hasn't been doing that lately.
He played excellent in his return to Carolina. PFF graded him at 74.1!!! Shula and the DB coach, are waiting on nothing, that's why he started against the Panthers and the Bears until his shoulder got banged up.

NFL referee Clay Martin's stats show his crews often call high rates of False Starts and Offensive Holding, with significant home/away disparity favoring home teams against the spread, and he's known for a large home/away penalty difference, with his crews averaging around 100+ penalty yards per game, especially in recent seasons. He was promoted to referee in 2018 after starting as an umpire, officiating numerous playoff games, and his crews have been assigned high-profile postseason matchups.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a fair enforcement of offensive holding. I think that will benefit the Rams DL.

My bad. Merge at will.

But I do think that chalking this up to no big deal since he's "2nd string" is not at all true. I always thought he did the most damage when they're near the goal line or need a few third and short conversions. He's a load and I feared him the most.

Being able to focus on Walker alone is a big boost. Especially since I don't think the Rams are going to relax just because of it...
Hopefully Walker wears out. There was a 55/45 split on carries between him and Zach C in the regular season.

Here are some things that stand out to me about the two Ram v Seahawks games this season:

- The Ram offense had 995 total yards in both games (414 game 1 & 581 game 2)

- The Seahawk offense had 664 total yards in both games (249 game 1 and 415 game 2)
You reversed the yards stats for the two teams in game 1. Seahawks had 414 and we had 249. So the yard totals are Rams 830 and Seahawks 829. Seahawks pretty consistent here - 414 and 415. Regardless of this, the Rams did lots of good things as you said.

One thing I think we can be happy with is the OLine...and now that K Dot has a game under him before Seattle, I expect them to be even better in this game.

Fergie has a game under him with that hamstring and he looked good last week...he should be even better against Seattle. Now, we know Tutu was inactive, but this game, I think he needs all of his WRs, to give the Seahags as many different looks as he can.

McVay needs to incorporate more short pops to the RBs, like we saw against the Bears. Even with the TEs to eat them up underneath!!!

WE KNOW THE RAMS have yet to play they're best Playoff game...THEY'RE DUE...and I hope it's Sunday!!!

Be careful what you wish for since we'll be playing in Seattle. Somehow, it'll be only our OL doing the holding.

Usually a team rallies around each other when an injury occurs, and the other team relaxes..... Rams have been known to play down to lesser opponents.... So I don't see an advantage.
If Corum went down, its a advantage.
Same thing going on here, its a advantage.

Walker is still a load. I'm pleased they have less depth, but Walker gashed us in the last game for 11/100 and a TD along with 3 receptions for 64 yards. That is 164 yards and TD on us. He was the problem last game and who we should be planning for anyway.
True but if we bottle him up and make him work for every yard there's no proven back behind him like Charbonnet to spell him.

Being a retired lazy ass, I watch Cowherd and First Things First a lot. What I can't wrap my head around with Cowherd is he presents the matchup this way. Seattle has the better roster, the Rams are the cleaner team (no penalties, no turnovers). But.....the Seahawks "almost" beat the Rams twice and Carolina "almost" beat the Rams twice, so the Rams are susceptible. The Rams beat Seattle picking off Darnold 4 times and put up 581 yards in the rematch. They would have won, if there wasn't a freak 2 point conversion, never before seen in NFL annals and if the Thicker Kicker didn't pick that game with 2:11 left in the 4th to miss his only FG of the season. Of course to Cowherd's credit his gives the ST edge to Seattle. Obviously. It's all good. I like the Rams being underdogs FWIW.

One thing I really liked that I heard on the tube is Stafford was asked if "this was his last chance to win another Super Bowl" and he said, (paraphrasing) "I don't ever thing about that. I hope this is not my last chance". REALLY????? You coming back for 2026??? I think he will!!!
There's times where I want to choke Cowherd but I have to admit he's got good instincts in his opinions. So when I see his show cross my feed on youtube I'll often tune in.

Personally I think he's reading too much into Seattle's dominant win over SF. The Rams pushed them around as well in the last one and they were more injured than prior in the playoff loss.

Rams and Seahawks know each other well. The gameplanning will be fully understood right now even though it's just Tuesday, because all the players have to get up on is the gameplan wrinkles. This is going to be physical and downright nasty. This is going to be a trenches game. And as NFCCG matchups go, I'd say it's about as good as we could hope for. Way easier matchup than going to Detroit the other year was.

Also the Rams are so battle tested. They're mentally tough. I'd say a fair take is edge to Seattle because they're at home. But this is damn near a pick'em game.
