Eagles defense is awful and hopefully we can rectify the offense next week however I will tell you not only are we playing a desperate eagles squad but Wentz will probably have his best game this year as he more than likely holds the Rams accountable for in essence taking his chance to play in a Super Bowl away. Wounded animals are dangerous I just hope we feel wounded as well.

I agree. He's good about that.
But I'd rather he fully utilize Gurley instead of taking responsibility for losses.

On the road in not so great conditions against a very good defense plus not playing your A game is what we got tonight.

I am not sure they can win a playoff game, home or road. Coach can't seem to rise up to the spotlight, and we just aren't physical enough on either side.

Yes, instead of being very hard to reach the superbowl, it appears to me that instead it's going to be crazy extremely difficult.

Cooper Kupp's injury hurts us so MUCH more than people realize.

I don't think McVay did Goff any favors tonight. 44 passes on a night he's clearly struggling? On a night the o line is struggling? I just wonder why. Did they sit in a meeting and see something? What was it? Was it just an ego thing? "I can enforce my will upon your great defense because I'm Sean McVay and this is a primetime game."?

He should have recognized early that passing was going to be a problem--especially from under the center--long drops and slower developing routes. Why on earth throw 20 yards on 3rd and 2? Yes--Woods WAS open. But Goff was awful. So what did it prove?

Sean McVay may be able to name every Chicago defender and tell you what they do, but it's meaningless when your players are struggling with your plan. It's almost criminal not to get the ball in Gurley's hands more.

Look, it isn't all on him. Players have to step up too. The oline got beat all night. Josh Reynolds plays to meekly.
Goff was off again. But at the end of the day he has to be the genius to work around the deficiencies. If he hopes to go to the Superbowl he will. I will be curious to see his press conference. I'm sure the question will be asked about throwing the ball so much. He knows more about football than I will know in a thousand lifetimes. I am curious to what the answer will be.

I did spend some time rethinking the value of Cooper Kupp to this team.

I have been impressed with 83 the past 2 weeks ...but tonight not so much ... Especially when he was unaware of getting that first down and juggling the sideline catch.... that was a huge disappointment

...and then run it again. Tf!!! didnt even get John kelly some reps. Mcvay is too dedicated to the pass, and itll be our downfall.
