Were going to need our OL to step up big time if we want to have a chance on Monday... Looking for more Benny plays! We MUST be the more physical team also! Statement game!!!!! And FUCK SF
I'm hoping for more 12 personnel to help get Akers going.
Got too believe A-Rob gets 4 catches, just enough to keep whiners off balance

That Stafford/ ARob connection has got to get better in this game. If not SF is simply going to cover Kupp and Higbee. Also get Akers and Henderson coming put of the backfield. Force SF to respect all skill positions.

The Ram D Pasa rush has got to be better because the D is thin in the secondary.

NOTHING SWEETER SO FAR THAN BEATING THE NINERS IN THEIR HOUSE!!!

Beating them in our house for the NFC title was MUCH Sweeter!

I wonder if rat boy will employ his usual tactic of running, dinking and dunking, and screen for cry baby aka dweebo?

That worked against the Rams because we would get impatient and try to score quickly instead of turning the tables on the whiners and doing the same thing to them. Also, the Rams would help them out with untimely turnovers that usually turned the game.

If we play a little tighter instead of the soft zone, I think we'll have good results. It will force jimmy g to throw the ball down the field longer than 7 yards. And jimmy is mistake prone when the games are close.

This is exactly what the niners are going to do. And I'm afraid the Rams will do what they usually do... play 10 yards off the receivers. Of course I'm hoping for something different!

Rams will play tighter on D. That soft look vs the Cards was brilliant. Make Murray stand in the pocket and read the coverage instead of getting outside and making big plays down the field. Play zone keep your eyes on Murray in case he brakes contain. Against the niners Morris will have a different plan. Keep your eyes on the safeties because one will be coming down on running downs. Rams will be packing the middle of the field on passing downs where crapalo likes to throw. They'll force him to try and make plays on the outside.

This is a way different team in way we play then last year.

This game no Williams which will be huge. His replacement Moore lasted a series after two qb hits and a sack he was replaced.

If Armstead and Kinlaw don't play that is their in starting interior Dline that is not good but they are game time decision. The starting RB is out and we revamped our Run D with Jones/Wagner/Shawn we are rated 8th best against the run. The short passing game will be less effective. We must play better with our DBs.

Offense if it was me I would try to jump them early if possible which will negate some of their running attack and make them more 1 dimensional. Key is ARob/Kupp stressing their dbs. Also not running into their heart of their d if kinlaw and Armstread play.

Because their DLine and lbs are so good I would do some boots, rolls, end around, screens to keep them off balance. I am not sure if Stafford can sit back in the pocket he couldn't against Buffalos DL/LBs so this is the best test since Buffalo.

Key is our offense scoring 27-30 and we win.

That goes without question. The dink, dunk and WR screens are a staple of his offense in SF. Its because he has a quarterback he doesn't trust to do anymore. Our defense has to gamble and take away the short stuff. Stop the run and we probably win because it will force Jimmy GQ to throw more. That usually doesn't end well for them. Question is, are they willing to get away from their staple bend don't break defensive philosophy?

Sounds like the Rams should be trying to run inside a little more than usual in this game, if Kinlaw and Armstead are out. Grind it out..

I'd love to see it.. but the differences are pretty clear.. Rams can't get a pass rush going with just four.. although, without Williams, maybe they can.
Darious Williams was also playing his best football of the season at that point and no one opposite of Ramsey is ready for that kind of role.. and they had Weddle calling things.
Will Wagner be enough to offset loss of Weddle? Can the young DBs step up even more?

I do expect the Rams to shut that run game down. Period.

Now mention why the Rams got Bobby Wagner.

However this game goes one key is I don't want to see them running the ball on us. Take that away and I like our chances.

Guess you didn’t read the whole post.

Also.. Wagner doesn’t allow Rams to only rush four.

Also.. Rams shut down 9ers run game without Wagner.
