I wish we could trade for Janoris. I know we can't afford him, but I'd love to have him back on the Rams now that we are winning. I've always been a huge fan of his.

You and me both and when Jenkins is engaged, he might still be the pure cover corner in the NFL.

We will see. Kicking tires is free. Pulling the trigger comes with a bill.

There's no guarantee we pull the trigger, but McVay isn't going to lie about looking into EDGEs. If he were happy with what we had, he wouldn't be looking around. Of course, Allbright's comment is wishy-washy.

Sean McVay doesn't agree.
Listening to his presser today he doesn't really disagree though either. He says there are always these kind of discussions. He's gone over things with Les and they'll see if anything develops. He repeated a couple times that these kind of discussions always go on but not sure anything happens from them. We could add somebody but he isn't coming out and saying we're actively trying to trade for somebody, not that I think he should or would though as well.

McVay in his press conference today said that Snead for several days been talking to teams and he and Snead will talk later and see in what direction they want to go. So what was that again Mr. Albright? Because McVay can't hear you.

Here's the time stamp for when he starts talking about trades. Sorry guys he is careful and doesn't say we're adding anything. He says there are always discussions but it doesn't usually result in anything happening but Les and his staff are great at making things happen. They've had multiple talks about what they could do.

yes but then he also stated that Edge is a position they are looking into. You don't identify a position if you're not serious. 101 Coach Speak. At least that's what I'm hoping.

You just know Snead is itching for another trade. If McVay/Phillips can find a defensive player that they feel would improve the defense - Snead will make it happen.

I think if you were a GM, you would never stop kicking the tires. You would always be looking to improve - even if you were happy with your current crop.

I’m not saying they aren’t looking - but that doesn’t mean they are real buyers either. My wife shops all the time with no intention of buying anything.

As far as salary cap - the Rams currently only have $4.2m. I believe they would be on the hook for 1/2 of a player's 2018 salary if they traded for anyone. They would not be responsible for any of a player's 2018 Signing Bonus. Does anyone know differently?

I’m surprised to hear they have 4.2.
