@DenverRam I know how you feel. Lived through the exact same emotions when they moved from LA, it is one of the most painful feelings there are in sports. But I recovered and took up with the team the next year watching them on TV, and from what I've seen of your passion for the team I'm sure you'll follow a similar path.

Hang in there all who have been hit hard by this news.

Not from the STL or LA areas so this doesn't affect me as much as others, but it just feels messed up the way this all went down. Stan is a giant douche no matter what the outcome was.
I don't have a dog in this fight either, but he's definitely been outright lying to the people of St. Louis since he bought the team.

I would have more respect for him if would've been more upfront with vague phrases like "We're going to do what's best for the team", instead of having Demoff tell them he was going to do everything he could to keep the team in St. Louis.

I felt the same way as a lot of you guys from St. Louis are feeling now when the Rams left in 94'. Told myself I was done with the team forever. But those feelings went away after awhile. I realized it was the players wearing the horns that I was a fan of. Who the owner was or what cities name was associated with the team didn't matter so much. I hope you guys can get to that point too but I know it hurts right now.

I know this is personal, but out of respect for all of our Rams brothers, let's try to not make this personal, in a bad way, to each other. I hope that most of you remain fans. I realize, some won't be able to. I get it. If you do go, I'll personally, miss your incredible support, wisdom, and fandom.

St. Louis has my heart tonight, and forever.

Don't blame Demoff brother, he's a great guy who was put in a difficult situation.

I'm from STL and live in LA now. I'm not sure what I think. Well, I think I'll care a little less about them to be honest even if they're closer by..

... I think what I'm trying to say is I'm a STL fan first, a sports fan second.

St Louis better try for the Raiders. It's a long shot but it's the last chance before the NFL bus leaves forever.

San Antonio has the inside track if Davis decides to move out of state. They've been working him for quite a while in case he decides to bolt from Cali. He even visited there last summer and took a tour of the Alamodome with city officials.

Not to be a d-bag, but legally for it to be considered slander he would've had to lie in his proposal, and he had statistics to back up his claims.

Bogus statistics without any real qualitative analysis and bogus Twitter surveys and a whole bunch of other garbage.

DELETED

I'm switching to Soccer. The NFL doesn't give a jolly good damn about the fans, or the cities. This sets precedent. Basically, if any team wants to move now, it doesn't matter a plumb shit what they end up doing.

Love all the guys here except for those that decided to play the two faced card and slam STL on other boards (not going to name names). I'm not sure I want to be associated with the split fan base. It's always going to cause problems.

I will probably lurk and occasionally post from time to time. I need time away from the shit show that is the NFL.

I hope the league office burns down, BTW. This is on Goodell and Grubman.

As a long time Rams fan, since 79, I am sad that Rams fans have to endure this again in such a short time span. I am not in the same mental space as the St Louis fans but I do feel for you guys since I know you have poured your hearts and souls into this team and it is a shame that it's come to this. I hope you all find it in your hearts to follow the Rams where ever they go since I have come to respect and enjoy all of the posters on this site. Smart, knowledgeable, witty and irreverent, you guys(and gals) run the gamete and I am truly thankful I found this site. I wish all those who leave the MOB the best but hope most stick with the flock.

One last note to St Louis, no matter how things shake out, you will always be one of the brightest chapters in the history of the Rams no matter where they play. The GSOT will always be linked in history with the city of St Louis and their great fans! In years to come the legend of the GSOT and their feats will only grow and so will the fond memories of the St Louis fans. Kudos!

I just want to say thank you to all the STL fans here for supporting the Rams for the past 20 years. I have made some great friends in the STL over the years, and I hope to continue those friendships.

We are brothers thru thick and thin, all of us, and hopefully some of you will continue to support the team and remain members here.

My heart goes out to all of our Midwest brothers. I, like many, have been a Rams fan from afar since the 70's, so I do not have a dog in this fight. I will say this though. That 99' Championship and the GSOT are something that can never be taken away from the ST. LOUIS RAMS and their fans.

I don't live in either place but I did go to my first game at the Coliseum. I really didn't care when the moved to StL and don't care if they move back I've suffered for decades with them and God willing I will have more years rooting them on. My condolences to those of you in StL who have invested in the team for you I know it sucks ass. My hope is that with this behind us the franchise can use this move as a springboard to put up a team that is a perennial winner and that we'll all have a team we can be proud of.
