ya I think that would work..But they hired an O-Line coach ... Ryan Wendell.
Are you looking for Benton, at 59, as a senior consultant, like Greg Olson was?
This does not bode well for McVay IMHO.Report: Tashard Choice turned down Rams' RBs coaching job

Report: Tashard Choice turned down Rams' RBs coaching job
Texas RBs coach Tashard Choice drew interest from the Rams but he turned them down this offseasontheramswire.usatoday.com
Why? Tashard Choice played 3 games for Washington in 2011 before being released, so their paths crossed once. Perhaps there's something he doesn't like about McVay?This does not bode well for McVay IMHO.
He was the toast of tinsel town and could have any coach he wanted, but now with him vacillating continuously some are not jumping at the chance. I'm sure the Samples project also is playing a part as they lost faith in him quickly and I understand the Texas RB Coach not taking the gig because he's always been there and they increased his salary, but a UCLA RB Coach under Chip Kelly turned down the job? IMO, this is not a good sign.
There was also a report that they offered the job to UCLA RB Coach DeShaun Foster so I found that somewhat interesting as to now in this scenario, McVay has been turned down twice that we know of.Why? He might have turned it down because he gets to work with better talent and pay them more at TexasThis does not bode well for McVay IMHO.

Or maybe he prefers Texas to California/LA and the taxes. He might have turned it down because he gets to work with better talent and pay them more at Texas
I sure as hell would!Or maybe he prefers Texas to California/LA and the taxes.
He got a raise right after turning down the Rams.......lol I doubt it has anything to do with McVay.Why? Tashard Choice played 3 games for Washington in 2011 before being released, so their paths crossed once. Perhaps there's something he doesn't like about McVay?
Always a possibility. My point was him staying at Texas and not coming to the Rams isn't a negative on McVay.Or maybe he prefers Texas to California/LA and the taxes.
I presume that for both to turn down the job it means the Rams want to stand pat in the backfield. So as OS said they probably have a better backfield to work with in college. This does not bode well for McVay IMHO.
