Nothing super surprising here, with the exception of both back up centers (Kolone, Cabral) going. This means they think Allen is ready enough to be the primary backup to Blythe, which is a little unexpected, to me at least.
Coleman Shelton could be Blythe's back-up

No surprises in that cut list. So far so good. (y)

Went through the Ourlads depth chart and circled the guys I consider potential cuts.

On the offensive side it's probably Jackson vs Web at WR because neither Hopkins nor Mundt would clear waivers and it looks like Hopkins was a futures pick. Perkins is a sure cut. OL is going to be from among those three (Allen, Shelton, and Anchrum) if they are comfortable going 8 this year. Jones I think made this team at RB when he was impressing with his routes (I'd keep him over WR Jackson) but he's a potential cut too.

My guess on offensive cuts ahead: OC Allen, QB Perkins, and WR Jackson. I think those 3 are likely.

On the defensive side there's a lot more wiggle room which also means more room for surprises IMO. With the safeties I have a suspicion Scott made the team to give us a 5 man room. I also think we'll keep all 5 CBs. So all 10 DBs and rightly so in my mind at least since they'll be subbing for ILBs anyway. At ILB I think Kiser, Reeder, Howard are safe, so remaining slot or two is Young / Johnston, and Rozeboom duking it out vs the DL group. DL it seems AD, Brock, SJD, Robinson (roster exemption?) are safe. OLB is gonna be Floyd, Ebukam, Okorongkwo, and Lewis safe.

Looks like we may see as many as 7 cuts to the defense out of the remaining 10. Assuming the chart above is accurate (didn't nuke it).

Guessing Reeder might be the final cut. Unsure if anyone picks him up after watching him play last year. He is a backup ILB for now

I think after 3 years, if Kelly wasn’t meant for them. I am personally happy Demby is not with the team. He’s likely a nice guy, just not my favorite lineman.

I think Jones was the nail in Kelly's coffin. I suspect they really like him. And if they like him enough he may be the nail in Henderson's coffin too. They won't cut Hendy, but trading him would be possible.

With Howard out for the season, Lewis seemingly hurt, and Robinson out as well, we have some room to keep some guys around.

I agree for the most part with your take on these guys. I'd say that Allen might be gone, I'd say that maybe Nick Scott too. Bones was high on Nick Scott, but with a new ST coach, he may be on the way out.

I have a feeling we may see us look at the waiver wire for interior D-line help, band ILB help to make up for Howard and Robinson being hurt.

BTW, I am betting the Rams will be one of the 3 youngest teams in the league.

Last yr they were tenth on opening weekend. Since then Talib, Weddle, Matthews, Zuerliein, Gurley, Cooks, Bortles, & Peters were shipped out.

Considering the age of those first three dinosaurs, and that the only guy on the team over 30 is Whit & maybe Hekker, good or bad, they are a real young team.

Kelly hasnt made the team in 2 years, it makes me laugh that some thought he was an actual option.
So they have 10 cuts to go?

@Merlin great job on your chart of potential cuts, agree although I think Mundt should be circled. Not calling for him to be cut, but wouldnt be surprised if he is. All depends on Hopkins showing in TC.
And its a little concerning that all 3 OLB are circled...

Have to think that with no preseason games, most players who are cut will have best shot at practice squad with their former team. Hard to showcase their talents with no tape
Yeah I think the only real exceptions will be players that were heavily scouted by another team and they were drafted from under them.

Mundt is not going anywhere. I read here that Hopkins hasn't gotten much practice time.

Kenny Young is now the starter unless they bring someone in.
