The fumble is not ideal, but Kelly looks so much quicker than Brown. Brown just looks plodding right now.

If his pass pro is on point, I'd put him second on the depth chart. Brown can probably protect better, but he's just not a threat with the ball. I think Kelly can learn the protections in a back-up role.

IMHO, Kelly won't unseat M. Brown. Just look at the last couple of plays with runs up the middle. Kelly can't lay the wood, it seems. Get him some space and let his vision and cuts speak for him.

IMHO we'll see them both get carries behind TG. They compliment each other well and neither can fully replace Gurley.
