Not happy by this at all. I really thought highly of him, he was just behind the others. I would kept him let go of the lesser of the others.
I thought he would make on it on special teams play but he never shone in that department which is a surprise considering his tackling

Here is another name that would be an interesting pick up

Chicago Bears - EDGE Trevis Gipson

If there is one player that the Rams put in a claim for, it better be Trevis Gipson. Gipson fell out of favor in Chicago as they move more towards a 4-3 defense. The Rams would put Gipson back in his comfortable position where he had seven sacks in 2021. The Rams need edge help and Gipson is only 26 years old.

Not a fan of Blaine Grisak, or any of his colleagues to be honest, so I thought this quote was funny ...
'the Rams will most certainly be active when it comes to scouring the waiver wire, looking for players'

However, that is a good list; and a number of the young players listed were claimed-off-waivers earlier today.

The others are available free agents; and I like some of them. Don't know that the Rams will make any moves.

Troy Reeder to shore up run defense?

Happy Cracking Up GIF by Regal
Agreed.

If Reeder was on the 1999 team, “the tackle” would be known as “the whiff.”

Well he does blitz well on 3rd down and long. I will give him that.

Too bad they only blitzed him 10% of the time in that situation (if that).

And normally gives up at minimum 1 yard less on 3rd and long

ie - if 3rd and 10, he will always give up at least 9 yards on the pass play

Wonder if he didn't get enough reps? It's hard for me to accept if someone is athletic enough ST's should be an easy adaptation, so some doubt by me as well.

I will say I'm curious how he does in Chicago. i'd expect him to at least make that roster, he shown well here.

You're doubting Blaine Grisak!?!?

I saw people here saying the Rams needed to claim at least 5 people minimum.

They should be making claims. DL is probably the lightest in the league and the backfield the shortest.
That they aren't looking at the waiver wire pisses me off.
Oh, my bad, they signed Troy Reeder to the PS, He'll make a big diference stopping the run. when he graduates to the 53.

Bottom line, they don't give a fuck about stopping the run this season.

I would say our depth chart would be improved if they add him. It's Jones and the funky bunch in that room.
Reeder is a vet presence on a young team and if pressed into action is a slightly above average blitzer from the ILB spot.

Smart signing.

Or perhaps they disagree with you on how to stop the run or the ability of their players to do it.
