Run on OL will happen in real life. I just think it'll happen differently. We probably valued the interior a tad more than the NFL guys will. But the run on CBs forced my hand. I was hoping Jalen Collins or Quinten Rollins would fall.

Run on OL will happen in real life. I just think it'll happen differently.

It will be something that I look at when the real draft is over. Hopefully I'll (we'll) come to some conclusions as to why our results differed or were pretty much the same as what they did in the draft.

My preliminary thoughts about this are that either we've been obsessing too much about the state of our O-line (doubtful) or the GMs around the league are reading our stuff (probable) just like most of the smart pundits do.

Pretty much everyone except me has a cell phone with internet access and if they wanted to make sure they weren't part of the hold up they'd have done it already. Plus, everyone signed on with the rules we we have now and to change anything mid stream without everyone's OK wouldn't be fair.

That's not to say that those who would like it to speed up a little bit shouldn't do their part to make that happen. As you pointed out, there's really no reason why we shouldn't be able to finish the first 4 rounds this weekend except that it isn't as high a priority for some as it is for others. That's OK though because this is for everyone's enjoyment and adding in some pressure from on high would probably negatively affect that.

On the other hand, a little peer pressure couldn't hurt.
