Nope... one comp 3rd in 2024, another comp 3rd in 2025.So the comp picks are for 2025, right?
When Brad Holmes got hired away to be GM of Lions, Rams got a comp 3rd in 2021 and then another one in 2022.

Something like thisBelieve it's two #3s ... one in 2024 and the other in 2025
Next yrs extra pick can provide firepower for trade up for a QB if they need to go that route next yr.Nope... one comp 3rd in 2024, another comp 3rd in 2025.

Something like this
2024
1 (19)_____________________________________
2 (53)_____________________________________
3 (87)_____________________________________
3 (100/101)_______________________________(Choice for Raheem Morris)
5 (155)_____________________________________
5 (156) ____________________________________(Choice from Steelers for Kevin Dotson)
6 (191) ___________________________________(Choice from Broncos for Kenny Young)
I don't know anything about that. But good to know.Do you know if a 3rd round comp pick for a minority hire is excluded from that max of four comp picks?
Nothing different except better execution and the addition of a savvy safety, Waddle ... but coverages were the same, fronts, the same off coverage ... not more blitzing ... I think he was good but there was nothing that was so different as to say he did better then than in regular season or since. On the ring, we agree - I think his best coaching was in the playoffs that year
You have a right to your opinion on Morris. That’s what this forum is all about. But to say Morris is not a real NFL DC is exposing yourself to backlash. He’s a real NFL DC. He’s going to be a real NFL HC. Those are facts you may not like but thats a fact Jack. Personally I thank Morris for everything he did for the Rams. He is a big part of why they are now a relevant NFL team again. You know what you can do with it buddy.
Take the picks I say and you have no place talking to people like that around here.
Always do that unless there is a guy you love and will lose him. Rams have been on both sides of that. But would love a extra premium pick or two as land as the talent is similarI’d love to see Rams trade back a little and end up with picks in 1st & 2nd… 2 in 3rd.. and 2 4ths.
Combination trading back & trading up should make it easy.
I’m of the school that trading back to get more picks in first 100 is the way to go. But that’s me.Always do that unless there is a guy you love and will lose him. Rams have been on both sides of that. But would love a extra premium pick or two as land as the talent is similar
2?We get our wish.
Three third rounders.
The 4 player comp picks do not change. So we now get the extra 5th comp pick in rd 3 for Morris. And, if the Rams get four comp picks for free agents lost, that could bring their pre-draft total to eleven.
Now, four comp picks is the max number.

I figure our own third and two for Raheem.2?
One this year, one next?
Yeah, seems not a big drop off from say 19 to 30. Of course we have no idea of the personalities and make up of these guys and if that makes a few guys stand out to them that they might not want to miss out on.I’m of the school that trading back to get more picks in first 100 is the way to go. But that’s me.
Me, too as long as the talent curve is pretty flat. There are times when it seems the late first is really a bunch of 2nd rounders but usually the early second round has several 1st round guys who fell.I’m of the school that trading back to get more picks in first 100 is the way to go. But that’s me.
