Should be posting his resume on LinkedIn during halftime. We can’t keep putting him out there if we have any hopes of the post season. He’s going to cost us games, multiple, if we don’t make a change.

there is more blame to go around, but keeping this kid on the team sets a bad tone that performance doesn't matter.

The Rams brain trust knows he hasn't been good. They are giving him a chance to turn things around.

I never understood this take when it came to kickers - giving them a chance to turn things around or to fix their issues. I’m not saying that kickers are a dime a dozen but you take the best of the bunch (usually the most accurate). So many of these guys have been kicking for so long that it’s a little silly for teams to think they’ll right their wrongs in a season or two - their kicking mechanics are set for better or worse by the time they enter the league.
Sloman sucks. Its obvious. Must have compromising photos of McVay to still be on this team.

I was making a joke in ragging on Hekker because he doesn't look like he's quite as good as he used to be.
Ok. Maybe I did not follow the thread correctly. I should just not comment after a Rams loss. Never in a good space then.
His kicks are still too low. Even the one he made was lower than normal.

I posted this in the vent thread, but it bears repeating. Sloman needs to be cut. NOW! You can't miss an easy FG and/or extra point every single game. I don't want to hear about Sloman being young and needing patience. The Rams are supposed to be a contender. We need a kicker that can be competent *today*. We don't have time to let Sloman learn on the job. We had that luxury with GZ because when he was drafted, the Rams were years away from doing anything. This kicking fiasco will cost us games. And it's on McVay. Get rid of this guy. Sloman doesn't even LOOK like a competent kicker - which, for some reason, irritates me even more. I'd be less annoyed if he looked even the tiniest bit athletic. Sloman looks slow, fat, and short-armed.
