I'm not sweating the playoffs at all.

Rams have already exceeded my expectations. Yes--of course I want them to win. But I'm just going to soak in the thrill of this. The Rams can win or lose to any team in the playoffs. They have the talent to beat any of them.

And if you're going to be the best that's what you have to do.

If they can't beat the Falcons they aren't going to win the Superbowl anyway.

Either they are good enough to win it or they aren't. Looking for easy paths is a dead end.

Just enjoy the ride. Things are finally looking up for this team no matter what happens. The window isn't closing for this team. It's opening. Enjoy it.

Why so many bird nicknames in the NFL? Birds suck. They eat worms and don't even make good pets!

This is Cutty's first time back to the Colly since The Fall, right?
That's gotta be at least a small distraction (the Feels! the Feels!) -- Advantage Rams!

I like the Karma factor.... Atlanta signaled the official end of an error. Now Atlanta can officially signal the beginning of new era.

And the team knows what this team can do to them so their will be no overconfidence factor or anything along those lines. Should be laser focused and looking for some redemption after being embarrassed last year.

Can't count any eggs before they've hatched and all that, but I'd rather play Minny in Minny during the divisional round than in Minny for the NFC Championship.

If that team is at home one game away from hosting the Super Bowl? That crowd would be ridiculous. And the home field advantage would be insane. It'd almost be harder than playing the Vikings and the refs.
Not employed by the Rams I DO WHAT I WANT! lol

I'm sorry I just don't see us losing to the Falcons. Obviously its the playoffs and anything can happen but not worried about them. Not this squad.

Now in Minn we face the only real team besides the Saints that can knock us out but I fear neither one of them the second time around. We have a legit FO and staff and they will have our players primed the rest of the post season!

IT"S OUR TIME NOW.

The only way Barron has a small chance of playing is if it's at home in warmer weather or inside. Not sure he is not IR'ed with his Achilles or if he plays with pain on a knee cleanup job. May not be safe to even risk playing him. We saw how valuable Ogletree Brockers & Donald are to our Defense with Quinn on every play. Then a REAL offensive line healthy for the playoffs and healthy in the know WR's. I think we do our jobs & start a new roll. GO RAMS!!!!! New Season We may have had to play the saints either way and everyone would be bitchin if we had to go to the Superdome to try and beat them. So sitting players can now be just shut up about. Good call McVay. I don't like our wide open offense playing in 10 degrees for health either. Eagles D is deep and better up middle on us. Vikes D is good up the middle also. Yet they are inside. Fate like in "99" is on our side.

Falcons haven't been lighting it up. They have been playing for their playoff lives for weeks now. Saturday night game creates a shorter week plus travel. They got a little banged up this week too. Rams owe them one from last year. Rams key players got some rest and will be ready.

Falcons-Panthers post-game injury report: Atlanta Falcons banged up during playoff clinching victory

Fact: Andy Levitre can chew up an apple and spit out spiked cider
By James Rael@falcoholicjames Dec 31, 2017, 7:44pm EST
The Atlanta Falcons rode Matt Bryant’s right leg to a playoff birth today. They will face off against the high powered Los Angeles Rams offense next weekend. We will have plenty of time in the days ahead to break down the win (including three Cam Newton interceptions!) but for now, let’s break down the injuries, because they were numerous.

Julio Jones took a vicious (and clean) hit from Mike Adams on a passing play across the middle of the field during the first drive of the game. He was keeled over for about twenty seconds before being escorted off the field by the training staff. He came back on the field a couple plays later, so it’s likely he just had the wind knocked out of him.

Andy Levitre’s tricep injury flared up again after the first offensive drive. They fitted him with with a large ice pack and hit him with a “questionable” designation. Ben Garland replaced Levitre, who never returned.

Taylor Gabriel got knocked out the game during the first quarter. He left the field with a hamstring injury and limped his way to the locker room. He garnered a “questionable” designation and never returned. Depending on the severity of the injury, he could miss multiple games, necessitating a roster move.

Andre Roberts was shaken up returning a punt during the third quarter. He was back in the game for the next kickoff return, so that’s encouraging.

Adrian Clayborn injured some part of his leg (likely calf or ankle) during the second half. He was getting emotional on the sideline, shedding some tears, which isn’t a good sign. Fellow defensive playmaker Vic Beasley was also seen limping during the fourth quarter, but he kept playing, sacking Newton during the final minutes of the game.

Devonta Freeman also limped off the field in the final minutes of the game. He looked a little frustrated, so that’s disconcerting.

Lots of stuff to keep an eye on. Your thoughts?

We torched Philly a few weeks ago. We know we can do some damage against that defense.

The Rams are better and they'll have the luxury of having a 75000 persons who mostly are cheering the Rams helping to confuse Ryan and the Atlanta offense. I can only guess how inspired Aaron Donald will be. I almost pity the guys lined across from him, and Matt Ryan of course. Gurley will be an absolute star and the Rams offense will roll.

It will be LIT!

agree. Yet if we go across the nation to negative degrees we don't play our wide open screen & pass game in wind brutal cold & possible snow. We need good weather if we hope to play Barron and home and indoors and home looks better to get Barron some playing time. Whatever happened I believe was the way it was meant for it to be for us to WIN IT ALL. Eagles would be nice but no matter how you cut it our biggest challenges are Vikes in their dome or to TRY and beat Saints in their scoring dome of hell for the Championship. Rams lost in 2000 there and lost SB to Pats in the same Dome. I want no part of the Voo Doo going on in Nawlins. I was in Nawlins in 83 for last game of season beating Bum phillips & Earl Campbell with 42 yard Field Goal by barefoot Lansford. Not much good ever happened to us in that dome. Love the food there. I want the saints back in our house for CHAMPIONSHIP. Hopefully beat up more than us.

How would we ever go to the Super Dome for a playoff game, since we beat the Aints?

Here in Atlanta, I'm gonna have to listen to all these crackpot Dirty Bird fans trash talking their tail feathers off until we crush their wildest dreams next weekend. It's gonna be a long week, and Sean & Co. had better damn make sure next weekend is worth all the nonsense I'll have to put up with!

You got this, man!

I think the BEST scenario had us playing the Hags. We have their number, especially Wussell's. Plus their injuries compounds their chances to beat us. That all being said.... we can take the Falcons...
