NFL needs to just go with East / West for figuring the playoffs. Remove the division winner nonsense. Old division rivalries play each other once every year, rest of the sched is randomized.

Some teams would get better schedules, but it wouldn't be locked like it is now with shit divisions benefitting one team every year.

Are you changing your avatar every five minutes!

I can't keep up!!!

I like the new seeding. It allows for more controversy. NBA and NHL playoffs are a lot of fun since the top seeds play in the first round as well. Who doesn’t like it when an underdog busts the bracket?

As far as East vs West, I think the divisions are closely grouped together within each conference, with the exceptions of a few. I think it would make more sense regionally if Carolina and Dallas swapped divisions. DAL/TB/ATL/NO and CAR/WAS/PHI/NY.

I know it won't happen like this because I'd be entering every football possible if it did. But I tried to be as unbiased as I can with each pick every week. I even changed up scenarios. Almost every one I came up with had us in the 5th seed. I had our 4th seed opponent changing from Dallas to Arizona. If we beat AZ and Green Bay wins GB takes the top spot.

I want the Division and the 2 seed, if we can’t get 1.

2 seed

I've accepted that we'll be a wildcard. Don't really care which seed because there's a lot of similarities in the opponents. Bunch of balanced opponents that will require the same balanced team game from us to beat. Rams will either be tuned up and play well or they won't.

Just gonna enjoy it as long as it lasts. And if we somehow get hot enough to win a top seed even better. But tbh this team seems to play its best when it's not in the catbird seat. Strange shit but definitely a tendency of McVay teams thus far.

Me too, for several weeks now. When the Cardinals finally stumbled with 2 losses and the Rams answered with 3 straight losses...yeah, opportunity squandered.

Still, I had the Rams at 13-4 and i'm sticking to it. I feel like if there's a team that can choke away the division lead it's Arizona. DHop injury, the Kingsbury factor, inexperience, they struggle at home etc. The pressure is mounting here locally.
