So when are the football gods coming for Green Bay?I ⁴ę

That is an excellent question/point!

While it may seem like GB hasn't suffered enough QB malnourishment because they went Favre - Aaron - Love... I do know that they definitely suffered some real QB pain when all 3 of those guys were still playing for the cheese heads. You are correct though Mac....

Rivers was a good quarterback.
Hall of Fame?

No.
I know we hate the Renters but Rivers numbers say otherwise. He's definitely a HOF QB. Antonio Gates is in the HOF, who do you think threw him the ball?

I don't think Love is in the same category as Favre and Rodgers, certainly not at present. He's good, but he's not elite like those two were in their respective primes.

To me, to make the Hall of Fame, you have to win a Super Bowl AND have good stats throughout your career.
At least be in a Super Bowl like Marino.
You have to fire up your team and have a championship season.
That's just my opinion of course.

I'm ok if Rivers has just one stellar game. The one against the whiners. If Jonathan Taylor can gash the whiner defense, I'd say they might have a real shot.

I don't even want to wish that upon another team..... especially a team that we need to win this weekend and next..... I'll show empathy just until after Seahawk and 9ers games in hopes the Colts can provide a Christmas miracle(s) for the Rams.

For now I will wish the colts the best of luck the next two weeks.
How lucky - then again that fumble at the goal line against The Rams was a blessing.

So in your case using that criteria, a Barry Sanders wouldn't be in the HOF. Man you got some tough standards lol..... I'm guessing this criteria only applies to QBs maybe?

He’s a top man and it’s one of the most interesting signings for years. We did the same and it was crucial in us winning the SB. How many times has it happened? I don’t know, but we are the only recent example I can think of. It’s a great move by Indi as he can and probably will save their season from collapsing. I can’t wait to watch

Meanwhile, how long before Eric Weddle is able to be nominated for the hall of fame :-) He has to go in after what he accomplished, right? They both went into coaching kids and are natural leaders. Rivers doesn’t need a SB to get in but I wouldn’t rule him out from making it with that team around him

He might struggle against our pash rush and what a match up with Stafford that would be!

Rivers would be the second grandpa ever in the NFL.

The first?

Brett Favre.

The oldest guy ever in the NFL?

George Blanda, at 48.

Put me in, Coach!
