We were lucky to win that game....And...... Our three losses should have been wins.

But the Panther loss still stings.

And it's looking more and more that Rivers might actually play Sunday. :woozy2: I was really counting on the Colts beating either the buzzards or the 9ers..... That wish seems to be all but gone.

I liked Nick Wright's take on Rivers playing Sunday. You're going to play a 44 year old QB who was immobile when he was 34 and hasn't played in 5 years against that Houston D.....that sacked Josh Allen 8 times? Serious questions need to be asked if he plays.

Josh Allen seems to go out of his way to get sacked.

Colts are in a bad spot.... If Rivers can make it through practice this week, maybe he can play..... I'm just hoping for the best because we can use the help.

I wouldn't be so worried if we had beaten the Panthers.

They play Seattle Sunday, but that's a great take. I too remember seeing Rivers play his final season and he looked former St. Louis Cardinals QB Jim Hart slow even then.

I'm hope I'm wrong but this puts me in mind of a bad accident. You don't want to look, but you just can't help it.

Yeah, my bad....Seattle's defense. I really can't fathom playing a 44 year old guy. I understand he had been tutoring Riley Leonard and a few other young QBs prior to the season and it was suggested he may just be there for that purpose. Let's hope so. I'd hate to see the guy get injured.

He’s a top man and it’s one of the most interesting signings for years. We did the same and it was crucial in us winning the SB. How many times has it happened? I don’t know, but we are the only recent example I can think of. It’s a great move by Indi as he can and probably will save their season from collapsing. I can’t wait to watch

Meanwhile, how long before Eric Weddle is able to be nominated for the hall of fame :-) He has to go in after what he accomplished, right? They both went into coaching kids and are natural leaders. Rivers doesn’t need a SB to get in but I wouldn’t rule him out from making it with that team around him

He might struggle against our pash rush and what a match up with Stafford that would be!
Wait! We signed a 44 year old QB and won a SB? Where was I? How is this even comparable? We signed a 33 year old QB that was playing at an elite level - not a QB a full 1/3 of a lifetime older that had been retired for 6 years.

I know we hate the Renters but Rivers numbers say otherwise. He's definitely a HOF QB. Antonio Gates is in the HOF, who do you think threw him the ball?

If Archie Manning can get into the hall with a losing record, no playoffs. Just a respect for his talent, then Rivers should.

Read the post! I am talking about Weddell, you goon :-)

Am I the only one that would love to see Rivers succeed? I think it would be hilarious, fun, and would actually help us if they could somehow beat the Seahawks or the Niners
I’m right there with you, but this story is kind of ridiculous. In an entertaining kind of way.
