His record with us this year and the Hekker 1st down call is enough evidence for me alone
Ok, you guys know, he didn't mark the ball and aren't the video reviews done by the league office?

The main reason that the Rams record in games he has been involved in is that the Rams SUCKED in historical fashion for many years.

I';m sure Browns fans can make the same point about some refs too. When you have been that poor for that many seasons you aren't going to have a winning record with any ref teams.

And by the way, he is one guy, there are SEVEN in a crew.
Your opinion is duly noted.

If they do replace him we'll probably get Boger. :ROFLMAO:

I dont like it. Nothing to be gained except to give him more resolve to not like us and in the chance that he just happened to be on the field when we played like shit, maybe give him a reason to resent us. IDK, it doesn't make us look to good.

Since 2012, our record is around .500 (55-56-1). Yet, we're 0-8 with him (meaning that we're 55-48-1 without him). The Rams sucking doesn't sufficiently explain it.

Exactly. Given our composite record since 2012, if Vinovitch-Rams games were within that norm we'd be 4-4 with him as ref. Since the sample size is smaller, you could easily explain away 3-5 and maybe even 2-6. But 0-8 is way beyond the statistical norm, as is the fact that we have been assessed more penalty yards than our opponents in every one of those games.

Signed. Shared.

And a separate email sent to Demoff so he can subtly share this in the booth with Stan, et al. Perception is reality, and this doesn't pass the eye test. This smells of conveniently lost walkthrough tapes.

Pretty sure its reviewed by the league, not the ref.
Apparently, it is a combination. The on field official reviews the play on tablet and consults with the league office. Unfortunately, calls like where the player went out of bounds or if forward progress was stopped will be determined more by the on field officiating crew:

The main problem is that the initial call will not be reversed by the league office without first consulting with the ref and what he saw as the circumstances that led to the forward progress being stopped or reached. And even then, there has to be conclusive evidence that over rules what the Ref says he saw. In the case of Hekker, everyone EXCEPT the officials saw it as a first down. I'm not sure what Vinobitch used as his argument for the call but the former vice president of officiating (title?) on the broadcast even said that it was a first down.

We've seen other calls in other games not overturned by the replay officials when it seemed pretty obvious the call was wrong. It appears to me that the league office is reluctant to over rule an on field official if he still disagrees.

“I have never had a situation where New York and I differed on what we were going to do, so it will still be seamless,” referee Brad Allen said. “The fact that in most circumstances, we’re not physically going to be under a hood, we are going to be looking at a tablet, it’s a little different.
