Weird. I can’t seem to find anything new last 24hrs on this.

I read from a source that it was an 8 Tray Gangster party and no NFL players were present...

The story said that it was a party celebrating an NFL player who had just been drafted into the league. That info came from the party's security guy... so not sure if I'd trust that clown much.

Many new draftees have recently been signed though. That would make the timing seem right for a party.

What story? The thread was started with a completely random and directionless question.

Thank you for a little context. That article says nothing about football, NFL or the Rams so not sure what we're supposed to do here?

The stories I read yesterday said that the party was being held by an unnamed NFL player who had recently been drafted. That info came from the security guard who is clearly a failure at his job... so I don't know how much he can be trusted.

They never said who it is or what team the supposed NFL draftee plays for.

I did see some blue and a few white balloons tied together on one of the balconies... but that doesn't really help at all.

The house was a rental (Air BnB)... so the address couldn't reveal anything.

That is what the Tv news reported. (Here in LA)
I dont remember them specifying "NFL Player", though.
I recall them stating "LA pro Athlete"

Either way. I'm sure its all just speculation.

Right but most people on the board don’t live in LA. How many that do watch the news? But instead we have a post in the Rams/NFL section asking a player being shot. No info context or anything else until about 18 hours later.

I also wonder if the security guard was making up the story about the "NFL player who was just drafted" in an attempt to try and conceal the true identity of the person who was throwing the party.

While it may not be true that any NFL player was present at the party. It does happen often and I'll never understand why people who are coming up in life end up being their own worst enemy and jeopardize their entire career to fit in with the wrong people

None of our draftees lived in LA prior to the draft. Unlikely it's one of ours. Burgess was from Oceanside, which is extremely safe and there are more concerns down there with la eMe compared to Crips

Blue and white balloons might be colors of choice for the 8tre.

If someone wants to research the Chargers picks have at it.

That, I would believe.
That wasn't a rookies house thats for certain.
Whoever owns that house, has some major bank.

That house was being rented out as an Air BnB. So, who ever owns it... is trying to make some quick money. Super nice houses normally don't rent out for short term.

I did read in the story that the owner of the house did say that the renter had violated the terms of the lease agreement because of the number of people who were allowed in. From the story... it seemed to me that the house was only rented out for the weekend. All the neighbors had called complaining when buses started dropping off people in front of the house.
