Looks like Scott made the roster :D We expected him to compete for returns at least.

• Veteran running back Boston Scott, who was signed by the Rams in late-spring, is already a key contributor on special teams (inclusive to the new kickoff rules), according to coordinator Chase Blackburn.

“He’s done a really nice job,” Blackburn said. “He has done both punt return and kick return, awesome to have him here. Great veteran presence. Really taking a leadership role even immediately in the punt team, moving around from wing to person protector to making the calls, going back and forth … then obviously from a dual returner perspective, just a great guy. Great human, awesome teammate and really showing the way right now.”

Couldn't agree more. It's already starting to suffer. There was a ridiculous article on there the other day about McAfee and the Caitlin Clark piece he did. Clearly an agenda attached..... The comment section was brutal, as it should have been.....I know I chimed in. Complete trash article.

Smfh. NY Times is hot garbage and brain food for those who don’t know how to think for themselves.

Well that was fun following the Athletic for a bit.

I guess the Times need something that actually earns some income. Oh well, I think I will cancel my subscription. I cannot support that pile of garbage paper.

Kendrick is not an outside corner. However, he might be really good as an inside corner since imho he is one of the best tackler in the secondary

How is this news? They were bought out 2 years ago.

I would like to see Kendrick turn it around and prove some of his doubters wrong. Shout-out to Merlin, I believe he was suggesting this move last summer.

I'm not sure about the best tackler part but whatever keeps him from covering top receivers on the outside is a win probably.

Overall, CB is the most curious position going into the season I think. Between Kendrick's and Durant's struggles last season, White's injury status going into week 1, and how they'll use Curl exactly it's a bit up in the air. It seemed like they talked up Curl a bit as a quasi-safety/CB when signed so thought he might be the new star guy before this was mentioned. Only person it seems close to a guaranteed starter at outside CB week 1 is Williams at the moment.

Well he has to actually demonstrate he can play there, which has not really been proven or anything yet.

I am more looking forward to seeing Durant getting another shot outside the hash. This alignment in terms of usage makes more sense to me. :thumbsup1:

And re: the NYT has it really been two years. Where does the time go.

The reason that Kendrick is a great tackler is because he cannot cover anyone so he's had plenty of practice.
