Obviously you want to win them all, but this one is house money for me. We're underdogs, it's a road game and on the east coast - who wouldn't have taken a 2-1 start to the season? Especially with how the Giants, Football Team and Dolphins are looking.

Having said all that, I'll be picking us to win. It'll be tough though - Allen running and I think they look to establish their RBs against what has been a pretty shaky Rams run game.

Their d is much better than what they're numbers are, so great test for the offense.

How many teams have been underdogs in their first three and gone 3-0? Can't have been many

Yet no INTs on the season...yet.

Anyone who thinks we were aeup for success early is underestimating the effect of coast to coast travel. I was hoping for 4-4 through the first half and a strong second half finish. These rams appear to have other ideas, but we still have 4 more damn east coast games. Brutal.

Better than playing in London.

I watched a replay of the Bills Dolphin game because what else is there to do. Miami's defense is just terrible at all levels. If the Dolphins had the Ram's defense they would have won the game. Fitzpatrick played a great game, but if you substituted the Ram's offense and kept the lousy Dolphin defense they probably beat the Bills. Special teams wasn't much of a factor but if Miami kicked a field goal instead of running a crap play on fourth and goal the game goes to overtime.

The Bills aren't terrible and the Rams are doing a lot of traveling and apparently I don't understand sports gambling, but I question the logic of Buffalo being the betting favorite.

Its history.

Historically, teams traveling for the second week in a row have an unadjusted win rate of something like 28% or something. So, from a statistical POV, at the very least, it’s gonna add some points to the home team.

What I don’t understand is all the Bills love. Yeah, they won two division games, but against really poor competition.

I think the lines this early in the season reflect the public relying FAR too much on the talking heads and less on the available data.

If I were making an accurate line, it’s be Rams (-5). And I think that’s very conservative.

But the money determines the lines, not win probability... in the end at least.

So the Rams being dawgs for the third week in a row has more to do with statistics and poor bettor info than any indication of the outcome of the game.

I'm not sold on the Bills 2-0 record making them a top 10 team. Beating the Jets week 1, then barely getting by the Dolphins week 2. Jets and Phins are bottom feeders and Josh Allen putting up good stats against them doesn't make him a top QB. Bills D gave up 28 to Phins.

Rams have to travel then stay in a bubble for the 2nd week in a row, and that has to figure in, but Rams will surly be a bigger test for the Bills than the Jets or Phins. I like thier chances.
Yup, they are the east coast raiders at this point. Don't trust them.

I don't know anything about the Bills but I remember people saying about the Rams "oh who have they really played" So I won't count them out. I'm confident we can beat anyone though if we play well in all 3 phases, GO RAMS!

The difference was that we were pummeling the bad teams. Buffalo really should have lost to Miami.

I dunno what’s gonna happen, but I feel more confident about this game than these past two.

That said I’ll be a nervous wreck at kickoff...

Should be a fun game to watch, one I realize the Bills have played what seems to be poor teams but I do still think the Bills are a team on the rise. How much of a rise we will see.

Second I think Allens inaccuracy is exagerated, he isn't Goff but he has put up numbers that demand attention even taking into consideration the opposition.

His 70% completion rate with 6 TD's and 0 INT's seems to indicate he is growing at least in the sample size available. Terminally inaccurate passers usually dont become accurate against lesser competition as accuracy is generally not only a byproduct of said comp.
I think Allen's accuracy struggles in the past have been do to his naturally gifted arm. He has depended on it too much leading to bad decisions and turnovers or misses.

I see a guy that is maturing and making better decisions while letting the game come to him as it slows down and he processes the play in realtime with more clarity. Remember he has still only just started his 3rd season.

We can certainly beat these guys but I sure hope we take the 6'5" 240 lb kid with good legs and a cannon very seriously
Yeah I agree with this and respect Allen. He's a good young QB. But being young vs a varied zone defense that will mix it up pre-snap generally can mean growing pains. What he has going for him is his size and physicality, this kid is no joke man. He draws those Cam Newton comps for a reason, while he can be inaccurate he's also streaky so can be really good and that fuckin arm of his can put the ball anywhere. Last week they killed the Dolphins with crossers. I think they're in for a different experience with our secondary but the challenge is real.

The Bills are a legit playoff-level matchup. I think the Cowboys were too btw, but the Bills offer some different strengths. And that game vs the Dolphins they were missing two of their LBs including Edmunds. They're a smart and well coached unit.

IMO it's going to be important for our DBs to convert the inaccurate throws when they see them into INTs. That and containing the kid QB and making him throw from the pocket. But this guy can do that. Just gotta keep him confused and get his big ass off the field.

I think this is our first real test. That is a damn good team up there. Josh Allen is a fucking beast that gets no credit. He is as dangerous a runner as any QB. He isn't shifty, but he proved this week, he will just run you over. He has the strongest arm in the league and I dont think its close. The team is very well coached.

Im sure others know the stats and numbers. But, I'm prepared for a rough week. I still think we come out on top. But, it will be close.

@Juggs, I completely respect your opinion here, and will admit to not having seen the Bills play this year, but their two wins are against the Jets and Dolphins.

I agree it will not be a cakewalk but I think we have superior talent in every position group except for LB.

Predicting another win here.

The Bills are a very dangerous team. Their defense is amazing, White is easily among the top three corners (Ramsey, Gilmore, and White; imagine if Gilmore stuck with the Bills? That would be a scary thought.), and they have some solid weapons on offense.

I have faith in a victory, but it won't be easy.

I was more worried about the Eagles than this game. Any given Sunday for sure. But I got to be honest here man, I watched the Dolphins game one I was left unimpressed. And considering that the Jets were just murdered by the Niners mash unit I'd say right now the Bills are far from a cupcake. But we need to slow down; like way down. There is nothing wrong with smashing teams weaker than you. But both the teams they've played are pretty much at the bottom of the league. The Rams are also well coached, something the Bills haven't dealt with yet. Am I concerned? I'm concerned every game lol, and the jury is still out on us too. But it feels like there's a little bit of "Josh Allen is an offensive juggernaut" going on here.

Lol we are a good team at a disadvantage of being in another time zone and in someone else's house. This is no different than any other road game. McVay has an excellent road record as well. I'm not going to lie to you, they've got some receivers in Diggs and Beasley. They have the potential to put up points we've seen that. Again they are not a cupcake. But the Jets and Dolphins should not be considered a barometer for how good any team is. This is a test for both teams. Bills better be ready, because we aren't the Jets or the Phins.

McVay's research that traveling east for a day should affect the player's circadian rhythm.

A circadian rhythm is a natural, internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats on each rotation of the Earth roughly every 24 hours. It can refer to any biological process that displays an endogenous, entrainable oscillation of about 24 hours.

The Rams let both the Cowboys and Eagles back in the game after dominating early. I haven't watched the Bills of late but, it appears the Rams would be better served to get off to a good start again. This will be a good early test for both the Rams defense and offense.

Competition matters. Bills are not for real until they beat at least a middle tier team.

Rams could lose but I am still taking them to win.

I’ve been watching the Bills/Dolphins game. They have three good receivers in Diggs, Brown and Beasley in the slot. They have a good TE too. Their offense is similar to McVays 11 personnel in that they send each receiver to a different level of the field. They love crossing routes too. RBs in Zach Moss and Devin Singletary. Both are three down backs that run with power. Singletary was a Rams target and a guy I hoped they’d pick. He looks good in Pass Pro.

The Oline is very good and they do a drop back style offense. Singletary is a good blocker. If the Rams can generate any pass rush they can force bad throws by Allen. His accuracy seems hot and cold but when he’s on he’s good. Hopefully Ramsey can shutdown Diggs but I’d bet Hill will struggle again in the slot.

The Bills mainly play zone coverage on defense. This should help the Rams but the can single up. Their pass rush was decent and despite Edwards being out they have a rookie named Dodson at linebacker who was really flying around.

They have an excellent punter, kicker and special teams too. This team reminds me a bit of the 2018 Rams.
I don’t see a cakewalk with the return to the east. The main thing keeping me optimistic is that the Bills didn’t play anyone as good as the Cowboys or Eagles. But the Dolphins look to only be a good QB and receiver away from being pretty good. They have a good DB group and both lines are solid. Byron Jones left the Buffalo game early with a groin injury, so I’m sure that hurt.

There was major power outage and TV coverage dropped for nearly a full quarter. Hopefully that does not happen again.

One additional thing with McDermott is he loves to play those A gap games with his LBs. He'll zone blitz it up and all that off those looks so our interior OL needs to be all filmed up on that shit.

He's a really smart gameplanner and their defense playing shitty the first two weeks makes me think they're going to be up to show what they can do vs a top offense. So there's gonna be moments where McVay needs to adjust, will be surprised if we blow them out.

Either way looking forward to this game and I feel pretty good about it just respectful of the opponent.

3 weeks in a row, No respect I tell ya
Bills are ripe for the picking. Young team.. smelling themselves a bit. Will be a tough game, but if they can run the ball enough, they can win.

This game will be a real test for our O-line; Eric Washington is an excellent D-line coach and I anticipate his gameplan involves pressuring Goff consistently.

Probably will have to continue that 2 second quick passing game to neutralize that.

Without question, the first player an offensive coach looks at when game planning for the Rams defense is Aaron Donald. That’s no disrespect to Jalen Ramsey, but Donald disrupts an offense more than a top cornerback does.

The Bills will have the tall task of slowing down Donald this week and while it’s still early in the game-planning process, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has a plan for the dominant defensive lineman.

“Maybe he can miss the bus,” he joked, before going on to rave about Donald’s skill set. “Just started to watch his first two games. Look, he’s as premier of a lineman that I’ve seen. He’s a disruptive force. He’s got power, he’s got strength, he’s got speed, he’s got quickness, he’s got leverage, he’s got motor, he plays intelligently. There’s plays on tape that we watch and you go, ‘Oh boy.’ He’s hard to get to, he can play multiple spots, and they have a lot of other good players, too.”

The Eagles did a good job negating Donald on Sunday, holding him to just one tackle with no quarterback hits or tackles for a loss. That doesn’t happen often, and Donald will be motivated to bounce back with a better performance against Buffalo.

But the thing with the Rams defense is that even when Donald doesn’t have a great game, you still have to worry about Ramsey, who locked down every receiver he matched up with in Sunday’s win against Philadelphia.

“And then you’ve got a corner like Jalen, who’s a premier [player] at his [position], too,” Daboll said. “They’re tough. That’s why they’re only giving up 18 points or whatever it is in the early part of the season to two good offenses, so we definitely have our work cut out for us.”

The Bills are coming off a 31-28 win over the Dolphins and look like one of the better teams in the league. They’re sixth in points scored and third in yards, while only allowing the fifth-fewest yards in the NFL. Granted, they played the Dolphins and Jets, but it’s Josh Allen and the offense that have looked surprisingly strong.

The Rams defense has given up just 36 total points this season, but they’ll once again be tested in Week 3.
