Granted they have looked good, but they haven't faced a team anything like us yet. They are very well coached and this will be the toughest defense we've faced yet. Tre'davius White is a top 3 corner in the NFL flat out and we'll need to be careful with him. They have studs at every level on defense but we have the better scheme, play-caller, and are rolling offensively right now. We face Russel twice a year so running QBs aren't something unknown to us. We'll have to be smart with our pass rush and keep him in the pocket and make Allen beat us with his arm. Our secondary is way better than the Fins and Jets, and Staley's scheme plays a lot of sneaky zone disguised looks. So if we can pick him off 1 or 2 times we should be in good shape. But Allen, Moss, Singletary, Diggs, Brown, Beasley is a very nice group of weapons and they're playing with confidence right now, so it will definitely be a challenge.

This game will prove if we're serious contenders or not IMO. Looking at our schedule, if we pull this one out, we legit have a shot to go into our bye week 8-0. If we lose a close game to the Bills I could still see us winning the next 5 and going into the bye at 7-1. We're set up for success in the first half of the season, but Buffalo is healthy and playing well so I'm looking forward to this one.

Upcoming schedule:

NY Giants
Washinton Fooseball team
49 IRers
Chi Bears
Dolphins

hows their defense? havent watched the bills yet this season.

Tredavious White is an excellent corner. Edwards is a vey good lber, and overall they have a better Dline unit than the Rams. So I don't expect an easy game. I do like ADs chances against their offense better, but think their run game is going to be tough. Just like every week whichever team can get some defensive stops and keep their defense rested on the sidelines while sustaining some long offensive drives will likely win. The second week of flying to the East may start the Rams out in a hole energy wise.

I think this is our first real test. That is a damn good team up there. Josh Allen is a fucking beast that gets no credit. He is as dangerous a runner as any QB. He isn't shifty, but he proved this week, he will just run you over. He has the strongest arm in the league and I dont think its close. The team is very well coached.

Im sure others know the stats and numbers. But, I'm prepared for a rough week. I still think we come out on top. But, it will be close.

Two weeks in a row traveling East is an obstacle to be overcome. Its like a handicap.

Barring injury I don't see us losing any of those games. I mean stuff happens in the NFL so any given Sunday. But I agree, we have a strong shot at 8-0, its like right back to 2018 when we were rolling undefeated until we hit some speed bumps vs the Saints and Bears..

Yea I agree..out of our 6 remaining games before the bye I think Buffalo is the toughest team by far. We better be ready its gonna be a great game.

The Bills like to hold on to the ball and take deep shots, something that is beneficial to our D line. Ramsey can blanket Diggs so it depends on if the others can cover Brown. Hopefully they learn something from reviewing their tape against Desean Jackson.

There seems some favorable elements to this matchup... based on what we’ve seen the Bills be successful with so far.

I want to watch more of them, but this point was on my mind as well.

The bills may be 2-0 but then again they played the Jets and the Dolphins!! Really!! We got this....our D is stout!! GO Rams!!!

I watched a replay of the Bills Dolphin game because what else is there to do. Miami's defense is just terrible at all levels. If the Dolphins had the Ram's defense they would have won the game. Fitzpatrick played a great game, but if you substituted the Ram's offense and kept the lousy Dolphin defense they probably beat the Bills. Special teams wasn't much of a factor but if Miami kicked a field goal instead of running a crap play on fourth and goal the game goes to overtime.

The Bills aren't terrible and the Rams are doing a lot of traveling and apparently I don't understand sports gambling, but I question the logic of Buffalo being the betting favorite.

.

I can't see Allen challenging Ramsey so i think Williams and fuller will be feeling good about their chances of getting an interception.

.
Don’t underestimate Josh Allen’s ability to not give a fuck. He will throw into quadruple coverage just because he can. He is the Mike Martz of QBs.

Yet no INTs on the season...yet.

Anyone who thinks we were aeup for success early is underestimating the effect of coast to coast travel. I was hoping for 4-4 through the first half and a strong second half finish. These rams appear to have other ideas, but we still have 4 more damn east coast games. Brutal.

Allen also has faced two of the worst teams in the NFL IMO, but his legs scare me more than his arm and he's big and tough to bring down. Bills have a excellent defense, not going to be an easy game, but at the very minimum better to play Buffalo in Western, NY in September as opposed to December.

Bills been one of the best passing teams statistically this year versus our Pass D I hope that bodes well. In LA I would be confident but in Buffalo this is going to be interesting. Glad it’s this part of the year and not winter for this game.

I’m curious how the game goes. If we win this I very confident against the Giants and hopefully we can finish 4-0 this first quarter. That would be something! Going to need it keep up with the Cards and Shecocks.

Should be a fun game to watch, one I realize the Bills have played what seems to be poor teams but I do still think the Bills are a team on the rise. How much of a rise we will see.

Second I think Allens inaccuracy is exagerated, he isn't Goff but he has put up numbers that demand attention even taking into consideration the opposition.

His 70% completion rate with 6 TD's and 0 INT's seems to indicate he is growing at least in the sample size available. Terminally inaccurate passers usually dont become accurate against lesser competition as accuracy is generally not only a byproduct of said comp.
I think Allen's accuracy struggles in the past have been do to his naturally gifted arm. He has depended on it too much leading to bad decisions and turnovers or misses.

I see a guy that is maturing and making better decisions while letting the game come to him as it slows down and he processes the play in realtime with more clarity. Remember he has still only just started his 3rd season.

We can certainly beat these guys but I sure hope we take the 6'5" 240 lb kid with good legs and a cannon very seriously

Staley's Broncos (2019) had a look at Allen first hand and so did Ramsey (2018) when they faced the Bills. Both losses, but there's familiarity. I'm sure they'll speak up from experience on what didn't work as well as what may have worked. Anything helps. Gotta tackle the guy and swarm if he starts running. Rams need to get back on the sack train after an O-fer.

Though I don't think the Bills are necessarily battle-tested with Miami and the Jets either.

I'm willing to bet that Allen has a solid day on the ground and Beasley hauls in a bunch of receptions. I'm OK with those because that means Ramsey is covering Diggs and Hill is covering Brown with safety help (as someone mentioned before). Our LB core isn't our strength, by any means, and they have done a serviceable job thus far. Now we will see how they handle a rushing threat at QB. Beasley can catch 12 balls for all I care as long as we are playing "Bend don't break defense." I feel like the Bills offense thrives on the inconsistent big plays so if we can eliminate those, we have won another solid football game.

Our offense is too well-rounded to figure out. Outside of the Offensive Line, we have zero weaknesses and any of the 8 skilled position players can be the focal point of a game depending on the matchup. I love the style McVay has brought so far in the first 2 weeks. Who is it going to be this week?

I have watched Josh Allen grow up, per se, and he has gotten better every year. He has a cannon arm, and also runs very well, except that he isn't nearly as shifty as Lamar Jackson or Russell Wilson, so I believe Micah Kiser will shut down his big runs. Should be a good game, but I believe the Rams will win a close one with their defense being the difference.

I don't know anything about the Bills but I remember people saying about the Rams "oh who have they really played" So I won't count them out. I'm confident we can beat anyone though if we play well in all 3 phases, GO RAMS!

If the Rams can beat the Buffalo Bills they would have taken down three media darlings....Dallas, Philadelphia & everyone's pick in the AFC East Buffalo. Be interesting to see the reaction, if the Rams can pull this one out in Western, NY.
