Back in the day my friend Joey did this. He always stuck out quick with the hot girls. They always saw right through him. He got to the point where he stopped even trying to pick up hot girls.

He would tell us soon after we got to a club or party... "I'm just gonna GO UGLY EARLY." Then he'd head directly over to one of the uglier chicks he could find. It saved him a lot of time. LOL

Did all of us have a friend like that named Joey? I've communicated on several occasions back in the military days, had a good friend named Joey that we referred to as "Bogey" because he used old pick up lines and he would go after them all.

Now in fairness, sometimes he received surprising results, but everyone needs a front man and for me, Joey was great as I always was the voice of reason and that always ended up well, with the exception of if my friend Rich was around, who looked like a young Christopher Reeve...Damn blue eyes.

Funny how time marches on as I do keep in touch with many of my military and college comrades, however, Joey is not one of them....IMO, when you're younger you seem to surround yourself with opposites in order to make life interesting, but, when you grow older, you surround yourself with people more like you, at least for me, as I always say to my wife.... "All my friends are voting for the same person I am, what's all the hubbub about?"
