I know this is a message board, but I think we’re better than disparaging a man’s character (especially one currently on our team) based on a year-old “rumor.”
Normally yes but with Goff all gloves are off and nothing is off limits. Including a TMZ level website with the only source being a random comment on reddit of all places. We've seen Snead and McVay willing to call out Jared but nothing at all like this off the field. It's just so sketchy yet it's allowed to disparage our player.

Before the Super Bowl? Wow. That'd be a surprise.

I feel he ends up in SF, or Indy. Stafford is a damn good qb who has been surrounded by a lot of nothing through his career (with exception to Calvin Johnson) and a few others. And frankly, I feel the Rams have been used as a way to up the price of players before.

You're not thinking of the right play UK. The play that Wolf got hurt on was a bad decision vs Seattle.

But late in the game vs Arizona with a chance to ice the game, Wolford scrambled on 3rd down, almost an identical situation as the Goff play. Wolf put his shoulder down and went through 2 defenders to get the first down and win the game.

He took a big hit but popped up fired up...and so was our entire team after the play. Goff could have done the same thing when he had the chance but chose to slide a yard short. Does that mean Goff isnt tough? No it doesn't. But I don't think he's an elite competitor..that's my only point.
Goff slid a yard short against Seattle right before half time.

That's a fairly smart play in my book. Why kill yourself right before halftime.

If it was end of game then I might be more upset.

Right?
Hey I get the enthusiasm for wanting Watson, and Rams fans creating all sorts of ways this could work out. The dude is a legit top 5 QB. But when we start talking replacing Goff with Stafford? Cmon... Mariota? Minishew? Good grief... I'm sure Jameis Winston wont be too far behind
How about Cam Newton heehee

On these “Goff partying” rumors, seems like just one bullshit source from the 2019 season. So it’s probably nothing.

That being said, I am here for all you guys, and for Jared, and for the Rams’ Organization. Those are not just words. I will step up.

I’ll do it. I will take Jared Goff’s girlfriend off-his-hands, and date her going forward.

You’re welcome.
So will half the board - and those are the married ones that wouldn't

When people boost Stafford up and say ignore his post season record but then tear Jared down for the SB loss and the GB loss that's going to be picked apart. It's hypocrisy plain and simple and doesn't belong in this thread if we are in fact trying to have an honest discussion.
And those that say he lost us the Green Bay game didn't watch that game very closely

Yeah, I'm not sure why anyone thought his play in GB this season was his fault. No one player has gotten us anywhere. This is a good team and a team that can win with Goff and Wolford.......I think that is the problem.....Goff hasn't locked it down and McVay knows he can take a different piece and make something happen.

The other thing for me triggered when someone else here said that Aaron Donald turns 30 soon. That means a Win NOW mentality for the Rams. It made it clear that they will do something big in order to make that happen, including sacrificing the future for now,

Scares me too, knowing they'll PROBABLY get Stafford or Watson. They're already a thorn in our ass and with a bonafide stud at QB, they're looking reallllly tough

Hell yeah. I don't mind players partying, so long as it doesn't interfere with sports.

I wonder what the cost would be to acquire Mariota? He looked pretty incredible when he got a chance this season. He's also mobile and accurate, 2 things McVay is looking for. I know its a small sample since he left the Titans, and didn't look particularly good there, but, change of scenery and a superior offense could help.
