you didn’t see the rumors that Goff was a party boy and that he and his GF were drinking his career away? I did. And yeah they are just rumors but they were out there.

God damn can you people have a conversation without being dicks about it? I meant we'd be one of the absolute favorites. Not every team that makes the playoffs is in the same category of contender. And our offense scoring 13 ppg leaves us out of that category, in MY opinion.

this is a message board. We are allowed to talk rumors on message boards, right - especially if we specifically label them as just rumors? It’s not like we have a vote in what the Rams do.

Hmmmm that website is really random and I've seen it other places and it's always bashed as a nonsense site. But people do love to view it so idk about their reputation. Seems very "media takeout" (if you've ever been to that website. They're notorious for making things up). They usually post about rappers, actors , and nba players though so it is interesting that they had something to say about Goff.
 
On these “Goff partying” rumors, seems like just one bullshit source from the 2019 season. So it’s probably nothing.

That being said, I am here for all you guys, and for Jared, and for the Rams’ Organization. Those are not just words. I will step up.

I’ll do it. I will take Jared Goff’s girlfriend off-his-hands, and date her going forward.

The funniest part now is don't hold Stafford's playoff futility against him but fuck Goff he cost us the Super Bowl and couldn't beat Rodgers this year. Just the absolute most amazing hypocrisy you could imagine.

Which is funny because they signed him to this contract late in 2019.

When people boost Stafford up and say ignore his post season record but then tear Jared down for the SB loss and the GB loss that's going to be picked apart. It's hypocrisy plain and simple and doesn't belong in this thread if we are in fact trying to have an honest discussion.

He took a big hit but popped up fired up...and so was our entire team after the play. Goff could have done the same thing when he had the chance but chose to slide a yard short. Does that mean Goff isnt tough? No it doesn't. But I don't think he's an elite competitor..that's my only point.

No I’m talking about goffs play when he slid and people called him a pussy for not diving ... I’m saying that’s a smart move because as we saw on maybe the 3rd or fourth play of a playoff game ... wolfie dives and leaves the game ..not smart

We have 4 years of behavior patterns to work with.

I suppose there's a chance that's what it is, but I just cannot reconcile that with everything else we know about them. I can't just flush 4 years of knowledge for one incomplete transaction that bewilders us.

I guess I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt until this all shakes out.

I’m with you, I’m going to question a rumor based on one Reddit post. Both of the provided links cited the same Reddit post, and most tellingly... look at the websites that ran with it. Obviously not sites that abide by any journalistic standards (2 independent sources) It’s over a year old and no other media outlet (that I’m aware of) picked up on this “story.”

Goff signed his extension in Sept 2019.
