I'd just like to have a QB we can build around again, stays healthy, and is at least top 15 league average. This will be the last I say since we are supposed to be celebrating, but what does winning NOw mean for the future? Wish I knew. I'd rather not pat my back on another losing season just if we win out. But yea, whatever cheers you up man. Won't try and take that from you. But between the Rams and Mizzou, football has thoroughly exhausted me this season.

But I'm cranky right now and can hardly move my wrist without intense pain.

Two years ago many of us were saying that Tru was the better CB anyway. Jenkins is talented as anyone but he takes too many chances and/or blows too many assignments to be really elite.

So does anyone know how many big plays Tavon Austin has had called back since he's been a Ram ?

Well, kinda disagree. Once Saffold and Brown get back, we should be alright IF Robinson comes around.

Honesty, Treadwell and a second round WR would be good. Cut Britt and Quick, keep Marquez. Bailey may have to retire.

As for our second second round pick, offensive C.

I'd start Keenum and keep put Mannion behind him, cut Foles.

This is my most recent idea, certainly not final.

If there were nine games left no one would be talking draft, there were 4 (now 3 left), with no reasonable way to make the playoffs (maybe no actual way). I don't think anyone likes the pain of losing, but they trade it for better outcome in the future (or better shot for it). You can be sure no one in Indy wishes they won one or two more games in the 2011 season.

Props to Bradley Marquez. I think the kid could be a keeper. He catches most everything thrown his way.

And as for Case Keenum, he did what he needed to do NOT to lose this game. You could almost see the guy gaining confidence as he went along. I'm not saying he's the second coming of Aaron Rodgers, but he isn't terrible either. And maybe 'isn't terrible' is all we need at this point as long as he continues to gain confidence and the rest of the O doesn't stink it all up for him. I actually think there was a noticeable spark among the receivers today, and I don't know why. Boras, maybe? Seeing a slightly different Keenum out there? All I know is that they didn't suck as badly as they usually do -- and had several long gainers not had to be called back due to crap happening -- like a certain chop block -- I think we might even be (gasp, gulp) PRAISING the receivers AND QB. Lord, please still my fainting heart!

Or 4 spots in the draft could be meaningless as has been the case countless times. I'd far rather have my team play to win each and every week than try to lose for a possible shot at an early pick in the draft. We could lose out and potentially not move up more than a position or two. Who would ask athletes at this level to do that?

I was ready to give up after last week but as of right now an 8-8 season after what this team has been through would be a winning season for me

* keep in mind I'm a true Ram fan and as soon as we lose I'm calling for heads to roll :rolllaugh:

Yea but you don't want to lose out anymore than I do. And winning 2 or 3 more games means ending up in the 12-18 range in the draft. Which is a huge deal when compared to the 4-8 range.

Teams that lose and end up with higher draft picks tend to be teams that lose and end up with higher draft picks. I'd rather see wins. There's no one in this draft that excites me anyway. They'd do better to target free agency. Might not be much there, but probably better than a rookie quarterback at this point. Is anyone in the next draft that much better than Mannion?

Keenum looked slightly better than Foles. So let him play out the season and see if he can get better. He's obviously no worse than what they had. No where to go but up.

The cold splash of reality. Good to see Gurley and Donald continue to build the foundation of a playoff team though.

Just wanna praise Tavon Austin. Would have been his 2nd PR TD of the year. That's his 2nd PR TD called back, he would have 5 PR TD's in 3 seasons. He's special and I hope he's a Ram for at least the next 5 years. Also Mark Barron and Marcus Roberson had solid games. Aaron Donald is amazing every play. Gurley is the same way with any sort of hole. I still believe in Jeff Fisher and Snead. I'm beating that drum to cut Chris Long to retain Johnson and Jenkins.

Guess I'm a little fucked up then, because I imagine no scenario where losing is more acceptable to me than winning.
Good luck with that early draft stuff. I'll be looking forward to another win on Thursday in our bananajams.
