I'm glad the Rams won and maybe even more that Gurley was able to have another great game. He needed that. The team needed that.

But I have to say after watching some of these games today--I understand the NFL less and less each week. Just when you "think" you have it figured out even a little bit.....

Anyway, "GO RAMS"! Nice win.

Seriously. Do we really, I mean "really" need a QB pick?...Let's celebrate but think about this... We played well today. I say this because we might have something here already. We will see this next game against TB Thursday.

They would win the moment I lost hope. Why does this team torture me so?

On the bright side, we have real depth and options going forward with our defense. Tru is having a great season this year. Gurley is going to keep me a fan for another decade. Go Rams!

Got a turnover, a lead and that was a fun ballgame

Tavon was shot out of a cannon today......how many punt return TD called back now?
I liked that they continued to feed Gurley even when there wasn't much there.

No kidding - eh? I heard that Vegas was even losing money on NFL betting this year. Not sure if it was true but I can buy it. What a weird freaking year indeed.

Am I correct in that we didn't suffer any serious injuries on top of a win?
Also, if nothing else this win helps to make the Thursday night game more watchable.

Didn't watch. Didn't care.

All I'll say is glad Todd got his 1000 and thank god the Saints and Turds won so we don't lose too much in draft order for a meaningless game.
Meaningless game?

Is the draft that important to people that they'd rather watch their favorite team lose 9 games in a row than try to win out?

Baffling.

Utterly and totally baffling to me.

Yes. The draft is that important. No, I'd rather not watch them lose 9 in a row. But I'd also rather them win 10+ games. And that can't happen right now. There are limited ways of fixing that problem...and unfortunately, the draft is one of them.

It's a lose-lose situation.

I don't know how they're going to do it but Jenkins and Johnson have to be paid in the offseason. Chances of finding a replacement on their level just isn't that likely.

How about Roberson or Gaines for one of them?
I'd take Tru over Jenkins at this point

Good start for Boras, which is really what matters. He wasn't perfect but he got it done and who knows maybe this offense can build some confidence with him callin the shots. What I liked today:

1. Game plan was not reliant upon misdirection and gadget plays. Runnin right at Ziggy = win. This OL looked better once they got to fire off a bit.

2. Gurley is so good it's crazy. His involvement and touches in this offense need to remain #1 priority.

3. DBs. Really stepped up against a good offense today.

Movin forward I'd like to see the following:

* More involvement from Welker, who can really get open quickly on short routes with his route running.
* More play action off the run with mid to deep shots. Presume Case's arm is why they don't do that but if Mannion starts getting playing time it should work wonders.
* Some jumbo formation in early downs and hammer Gurley. He's so good that might work better than letting Case throw it occasionally.

What about Mannion?
A 3rd round pick who I really like and fits the mold for what I think this team needs. He's a year in and should be way more acclimated than a Goff or a Lynch etc...

Keenum is a baller too
I say we draft Oline and just finish the job we started this year

They showed today how much they need Jenkins. And they get Gaines back next year!
It also was refreshing to not have McDonald knocking Rams players out of the game. I'm just sayin'.

I think they have a better chance of keeping Johnson than Janoris. Janoris came in here thinking he was the best cornerback in the NFL. Trumaine had no such illusions. It was Rams' coaching that has made him what he is today. Maybe he is astute enough to understand that and be grateful to the Rams for the help in becoming a Tru (pun intended) #1.

I know keenum's numbers don't really reflect this but I thought the pass pro was better today. There were a few times when he had a pocket and time to allow routes to develop. And lo and behold the receivers on those occasions were wide open. Obviously the improved run game helps that as well but it was nice to see nonetheless.

The defence was outstanding. I was impressed with Roberson again. He's only going to get better.
