I don't have a SMART TV, which is the problem, dang it.
Don't need a smart tv, just a computer/laptop with and HDMI out port. Plug that into a spare HDMI in port on the tv, switch to that source with your tv remote and you are in business! THat's the way I did it prior to Sunday Ticket.

I'm vastly too lazy to read through this whole thread, but here's an article from BSPN

https://www.google.com/amp/www.espn...-winners-losers-why-pittsburgh-steelers-happy

That says the NFL is a better place when the niners are competitive. There's no logic given behind the statement. It's just made. And it's dumb. And it makes me angry.

That’s what I was thinking about doing. Head to Best Buy and get a lap top for cheap and a cable. Load my anti virus and stuff on ther and it’s much cheaper than the ticket and better than watching on the monitor.

Yes but many teams have to play some combination of home/road, which makes it more difficult. This is awesome because we're home/home, AND the Vikings have to travel all the way to LA on a short week.
Sure. I see your point. It is a good point to make. But...weren’t we better on the road last year? I could make the case that playing at home is not necessarily an advantage in regards to winning games in LA. Plus, with so many new players on the team, I’m not sure what to expect this year.

Don't need a smart TV. Only one with a either a HDMI port or port for a monitor. If you have a flat panel that is less than 6 years old it should have an HDMI port.

ESPN reviewed the schedule, predicted losses to the Packers, Saints, Bears & 49ers. 12-4.
ESPN also predicted 287 wins by all teams this year. Only problem is the max number of wins possible is 256. Someone is off.

It is a LCD 40 inch TV, but it is older than 6 years. We were unique in that we bought 4 TV's when we shouldn't have for a house that is not fully reconstructed. I have 3 TV;s that have never been used and all of them are more than 6 years old.

Should still have at least one HDMI port. My oldest flat panel is from 2009 and has 3.

Last year we lost to the Vikings on the road. So, I'll take this scenario any day. Big revenge game here on the schedule, and early in the season. Go Rams!

Love that schedule.

Rams have quietly become the face of the NFL, whether you like it or not.

I think you’re right...they sure do get a lot more press than I recall in a very long time. I wish we played patriocheats this year. I’d like see Tom try to handle our pass rush. Tom doesn’t like to get hit.

AD and Suh are going to hit a lot of QBs this year. Our defensive back field is going to get a lot of interceptions and big hits also. Go Rams!!! PS the Rams are no longer an N F L punchline
