Maybe he wanted to get in on the shoplifting action?
.
Sucks -Not sure how accurate but I read he was shot in the upper chest/arm area
You shouldn't go anywhere in the bay area or a lot of areas in California at all. Once a great place now an utter shit hole.
Self defense!! I was robbed gun point. My friends were robbed gun point 30-35 years ago.Not a fucking watch, a Rolex.
Just hand it over. Is it worth dying over a watch? He can buy 100 of those things without putting a dent in his wallet.
.
I pray he's ok too but fuck the Whiners too lol
Unfortunately true. I used to love going places in CA. Now it truly is a game of roulette. My wife has a big art show next weekend in Folsom and even there we had to research where not to go and when. Just sad.
What is misleading about that is that certain “crimes” are not pursued or prosecuted. IOW, they are not considered crimes, just collateral occurrences associated with a more balanced and equitable society. I’m talking about gangs walking into a retail source and robbing it in plain sight and walking out. Nobody has recourse in that situation. It continues to happen and places shut down.Decided to see how the crime rate in Kansas compares to SF, for no reason in particular (CrimeGrade.org):

Are you suggesting it might have been a “hit”?Funny in the sense Aiyuki just signed & Ricky already has an upper body problem.
The hope is that this doesn’t effect his career & he recovere’s.The 9ers will be a closer team in 2024 right now to start the season.
I know The NFL community will bond together & the Big Picture might really hit home in America.
Kap was a guy who brought issue around what he thought mattered.
I think all of us matter Ricky will bring this shooting to attention.
IMO - sorry I went off as well. This whole world thing is close to home.Feel lucky I’m not in Sudan
Exactly. Why would I want him to be an amazing player for our most hated rival just bcuz he got shot in their shitty city?Full and healthy recovery yes, but as a whiner, I hope he's a draft bust.
I’m just saying that perspective & truth is what is important.SF Fire is 1st. Class. The police do a good job.The City try’s to do a good job to address the situation it is always in.Are you suggesting it might have been a “hit”?
(Kinda blue font)
Come to Florida, pretty safe here except from hurricanes.St. Louis, Missouri honestly isn't much better. Columbus, Ohio's police are assholes who "only investigate violent crimes" (their words after my friend's car was nearly broken into at a restaurant).
Honestly, not a lot of safe places in the world.
We have similar issues in Philly where we have one of those prosecutors who is more likley to charge a police officer for a crime than an actual criminal. The crime is ridiculous. I hate it when one of my kids has to go into the city for something. It continues to happen and places shut down.
SF is a cesspool and one should avoid tourist/high profile spots. The locals go elsewhere.
Really? I think I might wanna go shopping in Frisco. In my homeless outfit. There is a big difference since California doesn't arrest for some crimes.
Folsom, not much to worry about. Getting seriously upper class out there. Once you head west to Rancho Cordova and thereafter, may be some areas you wish to avoid at and after sundown.
I wouldn't put Folsom anywhere near crime ridden as SF. Folsom is still very safe. Unfortunately crime happens everywhere thanks to the few idiots that decide to do some dumb shit. I know crime well unfortunately. Born and raised in ghetto ass Stockton over here. Growing up like that makes you see signs of stuff going down ahead of time or seeing the signs that a place is questionable. Sad to see places go down hill. We should all be able to live somewhere without all the riff. raffIn Folsom? Really? It’s gotten that bad also? I remember going to see a Todd Rundgren show there at the college just before I moved outta state. It didn’t give off that vibe…yet, I suppose.
I guess that “crime pays” attitude has infected even a newer out of the way hamlet like Folsom. Shameful what’s going on there.
It isn't but places like that make it more of a possibility unfortunately. Thieves out there aren't fearing the consequences and that place has gone so downhill its down right sad. With that said, no one should ever have to concern themselves with wearing something expensive that they rightfully got with their own money. You are correct because it only takes ONE idiot to want to rob someone for something like this to happen.I'm not gonna get political..
Guys being targeted for expensive jewelry ain't new and ain't an SF thing alone.
