What is almost as bad, is having to endure people justifying Brady at #1, when he lost to #2.

Most awards are voted on by the AP sports writers, but this list is actually voted on by the players themselves so it holds more weight. That's why it's so insane to me that Brady was voted ahead of AD. Unfuckingbelievable.
 
The other shitty part is players who retire are not up for consideration in the following years vote. So if Brady stayed retired then AD gets #1 regardless.

What is the big deal about Donald being 2 instead of 1. Even if he was hurting for accolades, and he isn't, this list isn't that prestigious.

Donald has been voted 1 before in a year where he lost to Brady in the Super Bowl. I didn't think that was disqualifiable then.
