If this is what it looks like and we're not missing some untold details,, I would immediately trade Michael Thomas to the lions.
He put off a surgery he knew he was going to get so he could miss most of the season. That's the only logical explanation. He should have revisited the specialist in late February or early March when the specialist would have then told him he needs the surgery and recovery is 4 months.

Speaking Wednesday, coach Kliff Kingsbury said A.J. Green will miss some practice time with a "minor issue."
Kingsbury said he's going to keep injury news private this summer, stating he doesn't have to report on ailments until Week 1. So this is what we get. Kingsbury expects Green back "sooner than later," but it sounds like he's going to miss the rest of this week. Green's absence will allow guys like Andy Isabella and rookie Rondale Moore to get more work with the first-team offense with Christian Kirk also sidelined with a "minor" injury at the moment.

Kirkwood has a concussion (no surprise with a head hit). I read the Panthers, or at least the Panthers reporter, didn't like the way Ibe made the tackle. I'm guessing it was more of a combination of not playing well and tackling teammates in an excessively dangerous manner.
