Interesting list. I'd be curious if there is a reason the players are listed in the order they are.
Don't see many FA's outside of CB's we might be interested in, and we have four CB's of our own on that list.

He has yet to specify how they're listed and people have asked him. I will say that he's a fantasy football guy. Honestly though the way it's listed wasn't what I was looking at it's just a list like the spotrac list I posed too.

I would bring Kam Curl back (and possibly McCreary since you can probably bring him back pretty cheap), I’d let Durant walk and cut Darious Williams to open up more cap.

Our corner room basically needs a total rehaul.

I’d also see (cautiously mind you lol) if Stafford is down to take a pay cut for this year as well. If so we’d be in position to build a bit of super team heading into next year via trades, FA, and the draft.

As terrible as the season ended, I’m super optimistic about the Rams chances in the immediate future if they play their cards right.

We don't need to nor should we lower what Stafford is going to make. If anything he'll get a bit more money.

Am I the only one that won’t be mad if Curl walks without a contract? Besides the Bears game, which one of his last six or seven other games was he memorable or very good?

I don’t think he’s going to sign for a discount. I’d rather backfill from FAs where there won’t be a bidding war. The Rams are a destination team now.

There's a lot of interesting players in the draft and McNeil is one of them. But I think FA is gonna be used to ensure no position is a complete catastrophe going into the draft. Then they can take the best dudes on the board.

Agree, they don't want to be in position of being desperate, especially at CB. I think WR is probably best suited to be addressed in the draft. They can get a more talented WR in the draft and on a rookie contract.

After an MVP season, this seems kind of insulting.

That’s why I said cautiously. Brady did it after winning multiple MVP’s just saying. There’s other restructures that can be done, but it depends on how bad Stafford wants to win a SB before retirement.

He’s already that most paid QB in NFL history, and by no means does he have to accept a restructure, but it would go a long way to building the team that will most likely secure his 2nd Lombardi (granted we stay healthy next year).

I've always liked Tariq Woolen's profile since the 2022 draft and I'm still inclined to want to add him to our defensive back corps regardless of whether the Rams draft a cornerback high in the upcoming draft. Addressing the secondary along with the offensive line should be the top priorities with regards to using premium picks in the draft and signing big contracts in free agency. Special teams is obviously a top priority as well, but I'd address that by spending quantity of smaller contracts and mid-to-late picks after a couple or few high-quality acquisitions are made for the DBs and O-line.

Except he didnt
Patriots circumnavigated the cap by paying him gross dividends from their retail store at the stadium
He re-structured quite a bit, and while that helped the cap he still got his cash
He did take a well below market deal to play at Tampa, but thats a whole other kettle of fish

I wouldnt mind them kicking the tires on David Njoku
You and @jrry32 he and I have talked about this before. Good player lots of talent but the man has never played a full season worth of games. If we were to go for him I'd hope it was a low salary with game played incentives. I wouldn't trust him to play for us though, again love the talent hate the injuries.

He has been solid.
He is generally a good tackler and offers good support when he plays close to the line.

IMO, they should move Quentin Lake into Curl's spot and then re-sign Roger McCreary to take over as the slot CB.
