I doubt anybody else makes a similar trade because most GM’s aren’t stupid enough to trade 2 2nd rounders and a 5th for a 2nd, 3rd, and a 5th.

What a bad trade for the Redskins to a division rival.

Since Philly was dead set on upgrading their secondary they still take DeJean and we get a better deal with the Redskins or whoever. The mentality that we had to do this trade to get Fiske by fans who are assuming is absolutely absurd.
The assumption that we didn't need to trade up or that we gave up too much based on absolutely no real information is absurd.

I think there are 100's of conversations that go on during the draft. I have no doubt they saw their guy and didnt want to risk losing him, nor did they want to get in to a bidding war for that pick which was clearly for sale. There may not have been a team who also wanted Fiske but also wanted that pick to draft someone else.
I watched the Carolina video of their war room and seems as they got the pick from a trade themselves they were definitely open to trading down and acquiring more resources.

But I guess you can’t argue with they had their guy and felt they had to use that shotgun to kill that fly in worries that it would get away.

Wish there was video we can listen to the whole draft discussions. That would be very interesting.

Isn’t assuming that we HAD to trade up as there was no other road the same exact thing? Absurd?

Why would this one drill have a significant impact on your appraisal of a player?
I feel the gauntlet is the best measure of playing speed. He's decently fast with a 4.4 40 but that's pointless if he plays slow.

I was high on Ayomanor until this. I'm starting to really like Jayden Higgins.

Love Higgins.

But my real man crush at WR is Tre Harris. I get AJ Brown vibes and think we could trade down into the second and get him, while acquiring more picks in a deep draft. One stat that’s not utilized enough (imo) is the quarterback rating when a specific player is targeted. I believe Puka had the second highest during his draft (JSN was first), so I included it.

Harris’ QBR when targeted: 143.0…Insane

That’s higher than TetMac (110.7), Burden3 (115.2), Golden (116.6), Egbuka (121.4), Puka Nacua (BYU) 122.1.

I knew you would respond with your guy. He's on my list. I'm just wondering if there are any others besides him and Dylan Sampson who I like a lot.
Aside from the top handful and Tuten I haven't looked at a lot of them but Raheim Sanders, Jaydon Blue, DJ Giddens and RJ Harvey seem the most interesting and worth a look for the guys with big burst.

I'd try my best to get some draft capital for Kyren. No way I extend him with this insane draft class.

Then I'd do whatever was needed to assure Tuten lands on this team. He's our Gibbs. A combo of him and Corum would be lethal.
A lot of potential for disaster there.

I feel play on the football field is the best measure of playing speed.

Not meaning to offend you or @jrry32, but I had Pierce on my radar long before anyone else on this forum did. You can look up my November mock draft for proof positive.

Hollin Pierce's small write-up by yours truly

For every prospect that you guys uncover first, I will always give credit. For every trade or free agent signing I take for a mock of mine, I will always give credit to the one who made it. I only ask that you do the same for me. Is that fair?
That is true.

Oh, agreed. But we don't have access to that data, though. I believe any eyeball tests should be supplemented with analytics.
We do have access to and use that data every year. That's why only scouts and position coaches go to the combine for the Rams.
