Panthers’ D.J. Moore clocked at 113 in a 65 mph zone
BY MICHAEL GORDON

Carolina Panthers rookie receiver D.J. Moore faces an Oct. 2 court date after being cited on Interstate 77 earlier this month for doing 113 mph in a 65 mph work zone.

“F---- that car is moving,” Trooper H.L. Bautista wrote in his report of the stop, which occurred after Moore and his teammates returned to the city after a preseason game against the Buffalo Bills in New York.

Moore, 21, was charged with speeding, and speeding in a work zone at over 80 mph.

He was pulled over at 2:52 a.m. on I-77 north near the intersection of N.C. 24, according to Bautista’s report.

The trooper said Moore’s 2017 white Mercedes came up on him from behind and that Bautista followed Moore’s car for about a mile before pulling him over. The trooper described traffic conditions at the time as “light.”

In his report, Bautista described Moore as “polite and cooperative,” and that the player told him the team had just landed at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and of him “wanting to get home.”

According to the address included on the trooper’s report, Moore lives near the intersection of I-485 and Prosperity Church Road, east of Northlake Mall.

“When it all happened, D.J. came to us right away and explained the situation. He was very remorseful. He understood,” said Panthers coach Ron Rivera. “We chastised him obviously. And he’s moving on. And it’s an opportunity to learn for him and for the other young guys. ‘Hey, you have a responsibility to the community.’”

Hours earlier, Moore played an instrumental role in the Panthers’ 28-23 win over Buffalo. The rookie from Maryland was the team’s leading receiver, catching four passes for 75 yards.

Reporter Jourdan Rodrigue contributed to this story.
I have to admit that I could have been tagged for this several times at an earlier age. Good to see that he was apparently polite and accepting when pulled over.

Richie wanted his dad’s head cut off at funeral home. Also read that he had several guns and a SILENCER in his truck. Hopefully he gets the help he needs!

"He then proceeded to walk through the funeral home punching caskets and throwing things."

Wow! Before anyone here implies that grief may have caused this, I attended both funerals for my mom and dad and never did any of this crap. This guy is totally unhinged and needs to be locked up in a mental facility before he does harm to himself or someone else.

I can understand wanting research done on the head - but the way to do that is to contact a lawyer, not threaten to shoot people. After the research, the head can even be cremated. I'm a big believer in using corpses for research, followed by cremation - but there are sane procedures to use, and then there is the Incognito way.

Yeah, not condoning anything he did. Just that the death of a parent is at least slightly more explainable for a mental breakdown over being pissed at a gym because you're a secret agent and throwing dumbbells at patrons.

When he started demanding they cut his fathers head off.... probably a step too far.

Vikings receiver Cayleb Jones has been booked into the Dakota County Jail on suspicion of multiple charges, according to jail records.

Jones was arrested by Eagan police Tuesday on probable cause of theft, interfering on a 911 call and misdemeanor domestic assault. He has not been formally charged.

Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman released a statement regarding Jones.

"We are aware of the situation involving Cayleb Jones and are in the process of gathering more information. Further comment will be provided at the appropriate time," Spielman said.

Jones is currently suspended the first four games of the season for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Jones, 25, spent last year on the Vikings practice squad and is vying for one of the 53 roster spots. He was expected to play Thursday night against the Titans in the final preseason game.

He's the brother of Bills receiver Zay Jones, who was reportedly arrested in March for felony vandalism. Zay Jones was seen on a video obtained by TMZ Sports struggling with another man, identified by the site as Cayleb, and reportedly trying to jump out of a 30th-floor window until police arrived.

Cayleb Jones was undrafted out of Arizona in 2016.

This is a developing breaking news story.

A 22-year-old woman accused Kashwayne Nelson of sexually assaulting her in an apartment where Browns players Rashard Higgins and David Njoku live at the Metropolitan at The 9 in downtown Cleveland, according to a police report obtained Tuesday by the Beacon Journal/Ohio.com.

Police interviewed Higgins and Njoku. Neither player is accused of wrongdoing.

The woman told police after she fell asleep early Saturday morning in Higgins’ bed, she woke up and thought she was having sex with him, only to discover it was Nelson when she heard his voice, according to a police report. She demanded he turn on the lights. She then tried to call police, but Nelson pulled the phone away from her ear and pulled her hair, she told officers. She left the apartment, called 911 and met police outside the hotel.

Higgins told police he had been with the woman but walked out of the apartment and went downstairs because he couldn’t sleep, per the police report. That’s when Nelson is accused of sneaking into Higgins’ bedroom and having sex with the woman.

Njoku said he was in his room the entire time and had no interaction with anyone. The woman doesn’t want to prosecute, but Nelson was arrested for suspicion of rape and charged him with obstructing justice because he gave cops a fake ID.

What does having guns and a silencer in his truck have to do with any of this? We don't need anti-American politics on here, keep it to yourself please.

once i was driving the family home from a football game and didn't take a leak before we left as i wanted to beat the traffic. man oh man, halfway through the drive i knew i was in trouble. it got to the point where i knew if i didn't take a leak there and then i would tick all over my seat and car floor. i stopped when i saw some trees behind a church area. ran out desperately looking for a public toilet. nothing there. ran into the bush, tried to find a spot where nobody could see me. an oval and houses surrounded the bush area. still broad daylight, there was no hiding in the shadows. then just had to go. stood there for about two minutes. ahhh, heaven.

.

Thanks for sharing.

Ok Charlton. Don’t come at me with that shit. The guy’s had several mental breakdowns and obviously has deep issues. He threatened funeral home personnel that he’d get his guns from his truck and sure enough, he had guns in his truck. If you don’t see it, that’s scary.
