A lot of D picks.
Salah is changing the Whiner D. Moving the DL away from the quick, twitchy pass rushers to big, run stuffers.
If we could someone who can cover the TEs in our division I will be happy.

Seattle's draft is a bit concerning. Especially if Arroyo's knee woes are over and Milroe pans out. Zabel is an immediate upgrade and Mills and Horton probably would have been selected much higher if not for injuries.

I think our whole division grabbed some high value players if they avoid injury and others if they reach potential.
Johnson & Arroyo without the injury history go higher especially Johnson, he could be a really nice top half of the league CB IMO

Arizona had three underrated secondary picks. If Denzel Burke bounces back, that’s a cornerback who, once upon a time, had first round projections. Crawford was one of my sleepers. And in my opinion, Will Johnson’s a better pure corner than Travis Hunter (whom I think is vastly overrated).

Arizona's early picks were risky so I'd say their draft was boom/bust. I love Nolen but the rumors of him being immature, and Johnson coming back off injury, they may not hit on both of them, could bust on both in fact. However aside from all that they've been drafting well under this new GM, so not a bad haul but I'd be a little worried if I was an AZ fan.

Seattle has been drafting well too. Last year's haul led them to a big jump in scoring against. This one will end up the best in the division this year. Getting Martinez late is fucking disgusting. But adding him and Arroyo to that offense is goddamn irritating. Zabel was a strong addition to their OL, but I'd say they're still a year away from being able to stand up to our rush. In terms of weapons, though, they look good to me. Key for them is how good is that defense going to be.

SF didn't start getting on my fucking nerve until round 3 when they took Martin and Stout. Those were two fine additions to my eye and players I liked for our defense. But also I had both of those guys going later so idk. Their draft looks like it's going to depend on their trench picks on defense coming through for them. If they do then they'll be a pain in the dick on defense. But I do think their defense will jump this year with a top DC coming back plus an influx of young players flying around.

Last season the Rams were mid in defense (15th scoring). Seattle was 13th. Arizona 16th. Shitters were 29th. Looking at the draft plus other team moves I'd say Arizona makes a jump in defensive efficiency. Same with Seattle. And same with the Rams. Shitters probably improve the most given how bad they were last year. But we could easily end up with 3x top ten defenses this year and the Shitters maybe somewhere mid. NFC West will be back to being a rough division to play and one of the better groups.

I think Seattle is our primary challenger for the division and I don't think they did enough on the OL so they're probably 2. Arizona might be a bigger challenge but I don't think their defense is going to be as good as Seattle's so I have them 3. I do think though that either of those two teams or the Rams could win the division. It's wide open. SF might climb out of the basement but either way they'll be tough to play, and all our division games are going to be a pain again.

I think 49ers reached on a few, but they’re good at finding scheme fits.

I think Arizona and Seattle did way better than I wish the did.

I really like our draft, I just wish we addressed CB and a deep threat at receiver. Maybe the Tutu deal proves they’re finally ready to trust my boy.

Agree. Seattle killed it in the 2025 draft.

All of those teams had a lot more holes than the Rams did going into the draft. We have like almost literally every starter coming back, or replaced in free agency before hand.
It's our division until one of them can knock us off the top spot.

Took a look at one of their message boards. Many like the draft, but some are concerned that not enough was done to address the OLine.
I agree with them re: the OL. Hopefully we can blow those boys up and keep Darnold looking like the old version. :laugh3:

Plus we only had 6 picks, plus we got another first next year, plus we picked up Adams, Ford, Landman and Shelton, plus we’re just better…

Seahawks had the 31st ranked oline on PFF’s final oline ranking for 2024.

Darnold above others needs excellent pass protection.

31. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Best lineup:

LT Charles Cross
LG Laken Tomlinson
C Connor Williams (retired)
RG Anthony Bradford
RT Abraham Lucas

Charles Cross and Laken Tomlinson played all 1,094 snaps on the left side of the Seahawks' offensive line, but there were a lot of moving parts on the rest of the unit. For example, center Connor Williams retired during the season and right tackle Abraham Lucas was not available until Week 11.

The Seahawks' offensive line finished dead last with an 80.0 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating after surrendering 233 pressures — including the second-most sacks in the NFL — on 670 snaps.

Best player: Charles Cross

Even though he was playing on arguably the worst offensive line in the NFL, Cross ranked 10th among offensive tackles in PFF overall grade (82.5).

Seattle should have or could have used every single pick on Oline. Adding one solid guard isn't enough.
But that sounds like a them problem.
Oh, and it's Sack Time!

Seattle's draft looks solid on paper I think the main thing is that we just have to hope Milroe doesn't develop as a passer or they could be a problem for us.
