but there are some lunatics around here that have the nerve to say Stafford is as good as ARod so I guess I'm the one that needs to defend the reality of which we live in.
No. You need to address people with respect. Disagree all you want.

Best case (somewhat realistic) scenario, which I haven't really thought about because it feels a bit unlikely....

We win out
Cardinals lose to Colts but beat Cowboys

We would be the 2 seed which allows us to avoid GB for as long as possible.
It's going to happen. Just have to get by this Covid shit tonight. Morris is adjusting and the D is improving. Stafford has made it thru his injuries and the O is playing more physical. There are obstacles due to covid including short weeks and travel, but I think it all makes the Rams focus more which can be a problem for them when things are going good. They like to show against adversity. They will go 4 and 0.

The numbers this year say he is in the same class.

And Rodgers only has one SB ring. How many would he have if he played for the Lions? I'll help you answer that, the answer is zero.
Agreed

All 9 needed was to play with some quality.

So tonight we will see if the Rams are primed to charge into the playoffs, glide into the playoffs or stumble into the playoffs. Win or lose I’m looking to see no holds barred execution and effort.
I’m expecting some mistakes in execution considering the starters not being available…it won’t be pretty but they’ll win on grit.

At the end of the day you gotta beat them all to get to the SB. But, like most GB is the last game I want to start. It will likely go through them but that's a tough ask going to GB and winning. Hoping we go on a good run and win the division out right (even if it's second best record behind GB). At least we get one home game that way.

Lmfao. The numbers say he's in the same class? How about your eyes and your brain? Rodgers is a two time league MVP and super bowl MVP. Snap out of it man jesus christ.

Stafford is an absolute stud, a perennial pro bowl talent for sure. But Rodgers is in the top 5 all time and a legit case can be made he's the most talented QB ever. So I'm not going to waste any more time with you if you dont know that then it's on you.

How many league MVP and superbowl MVP awards would Rodgers have if he played for the Lions? Go on, answer the question.

And imagine if Stafford had played on the Packers instead, would his overall win loss record be the same, or much MUCH better than it is now. I'll wait.

I guess it's classic, but that probably goes more to back in the day, huh? I just want someone to knock the packers out so we don't have to face Rodgers, who freaking OWNS us. Just another reason I hate the dude - on top of him being a GIANT DOUCHE. I don't want him to ever win another SB.

We will do a little exercise here, just in case you are feeling slow.
Your post didn't need this either. "Think before you post"

We don't need the chippy attitudes. Discuss with respect. It's really not difficult.

I'll edit it for you and see if the post stands on its own merits without the above quote.

Right now I don't care who we face, as long as we're there. Still hoping for a complete Arizona collapse, which is a lot less far fetched than it was 3 weeks ago. Can they lose to both Indy and Dallas? You better believe they can. So we could win the West with Arizona #5, SF #6 and who cares? #7. Which means we will probably end up playing Arizona or SF.

Cowboys are similar to the Rams tbh. One of those teams that can light it up when they're on but what are you gonna get. Love that rookie too man, boy's a serious gamer.

But I do like our chances if we draw Dallas. I don't want SF but then again maybe it's time to slay that dragon and no better place to do that than the playoffs.

If we get #2 we would play #7. Be great if that was the eagles

Stafford is also the fastest to 50k yards in NFL history.

Rodgers had stable coaching, was in the same scheme forever, has ALWAYS had a much better OL, and has had a MUCH better full roster than Detroit ever had and I’m including when they had Megatron.

Stafford has been a modern day Archie Manning… what would Stafford have done with Payton in NO?

It’s a moot point because it’s all hypothetical, but Stafford is every bit the QB Rodgers is at this point which is all I care about.
