Is it possible for you to speak english?
Seattle drove right down the field to score and tie the game despite getting the ball with under 2 minutes to go and no time outs, took all of 1 minute. Yes a stop would have been good
The defense was on the field on the road & only gave up 20 points.

The Hags last drive they scored a TD -yes. Still with The Rams winning after a THIRD INT of the game they stop the HAGS again.

2:59 The Rams had the Ball(hags 2 timeouts)

The Rams offense can’t get a FIRST DOWN to WIN IT !!

Same thing with Detroit basically (BOTH TIMES) The Rams Defense gave The Rams offense the ball to close out the game.

This year with 4:10 to go THE RAMS offense couldn’t close THE GAME OUT !! The Rams were up TWENTY 20 - SEVENTEEN 17 !!

IMO - The DEFENSE did its JOB!!! SEAN MCVAY needs to do a better JOB(give up) PLAY CALLING !!!

WHAT PART don’t you UNDERSTAND?? WHY the offense can’t close games out ,when given the chance.

The answer, as is usually the case, lies somewhere in the middle.

If both the offence and the defence did their jobs, we’d win 77-0 every week. Unfortunately, football isn’t like that.

I am pleasantly surprised at how well the defense is playing, especially considering the rookies, inside linebackers, and a patchwork secondary made up of old veterans, rookies, and free agents. If they continue to improve, and McVay decides to shut it down after this season or next... we may have our next head coach in Chris Shula. Just thinking out of the box.

This is about SHULA’s DEFENSE!! They are young with a FIRST TIME DC !! It’s Sean Mcvay’s 4th as a HC.

Up to now The Defense has done there job except the Arizona game.
There was a lot that went WRONG!!

I’d say Harrison beating T.White twice for his first 2 TD’s of his career added to that. The Rams never got back into the game & the defense pressed.Arizona is a run first team using there big O’Line and QB.Conors is a stud who makes a lot of catches out of the backfield.

Getting D.Williams back has been awesome.Whiterspoon resigning was overdue, and Durant is healthy after almost making a game winning INT to start the season in DETROIT.
-The young DB’s have been excellent.Kinchens struggled against GB.
—The D’LINE is taking over games.Especially when The Rams get a lead & teams gave to throw.

I’ll admit both Reeder & Noteboom have struggled & not seeing them dress up would be as fitting as seeing T’White getting traded.

Going nickel & dime with Speights coming in on more downs will be nice to see.Rosenboom just had his best game of the season, and was a starter last season ahead of Reeder.Moving him in the MLB(middle) has worked alright.

-Let’s see how the season plays out. The offense needs to be on another thread. This is Shula’s

Did they let Seattle score a TD in 1 minute with 0 timeouts? That's the point.
The offense sucks balls and is the reason why the team is losing more than winning. Looking at the defense from where the season started, they have made great strides and are really coming together. BUT there are areas where they need to improve, closing out games (and 1st half) and starting slow. When they clean that up, and I believe they will, the defense will be ELITE

I'm happy with the improvement of the defense. They were close to dead last the first few games. Now I'd say they're closer to middle of the pack. But they aren't a top ten unit. Not sure they can get there this year. But the right moves and more experience can make them a top defensive unit over the next few years.

Agreed. I believe the management may have under estimated how much AD wrecked opposition.

Our rookies are studs but it took some game experience for it to show. Verse is looking like he'll be a beast. Imagine if we had a stone wall linebacker. I must say Speights and Rozeboom is a better combo that having Reeder in there.

The defense is improving, now the offense has to score more touchdowns.

1:54 with 1 timeout.

Do you remember the PLAY CALLING at Seahawks ?

ONCE again - all Mcvay had to do was to get a first down & run out the clock.. The defense was fighting for everything. They got LUCKY TWICE!!

That Goal Line Stan e in OT was AWESOME!!Don’t get it TWISTED!!

There’s a long ways to go.The DEFENSE hasn’t arrived where they’ll be in 2 years! READY to win a SuperBowl.Wonder who The QB will be then ?

All I know is that our run defense went from last or second to last in the league to a top 10 run defense once Reeder got hurt.

Coincidence?

The run defense had been improving prior to Reeder going out. It corresponds with the improvement in Brown's play. He's been a stud lately.

I hope they can re-sign him to a reasonable number. He's the only massive body they have on that side of the line.
If they do? My goodness.. the rotation next year.. with Tyler Davis looking better every week.. it's gonna be a really badass unit. I mean even more badass.

You think Stafford still has another 2 seasons after this ? This Rams team should be pretty STACKED in 2026.
What, your thinking Shula is gone & Mcvay ? That’s what my crystal ball is saying. The Rams 2026 w/ a new QB. This is a defensive thread & I’ve said from the beginning this Defense is going to be good under SHULA & he was going to use a lot of different ROTATIONS like WADE PHILLIPS.

The Rams still gave up over a 100 yards rushing in Reeder's last game whereas they have not given up a 100 yards rushing since.

The DL has definitely been playing better but I am wonder if Reeder was not lining up the players correctly as the Green dot.

They frequently seemed out of position in those games.

However, I could be wrong and they are just gaining cohesiveness as a unit.

Stupid penalities (though also stupid that the ref called the 1st one) at the end of the 3rd quarter really kepy the Patriots hope alive.

Two straight games in the 2nd halves the defense has not forced any punts - that wont work against our next opponent.

That being said the defense is very young and has held up well enough to win a few games we lost.

Wasn't it like 30 yards of penalties in one drive we gave the Pats? Lot to like about the future of this defense but our holes are our holes and not sure we're gonna see much improvement this season from the high variance in play from the back end. I do think we'll continue to see growth from the front which is just the tits
