I found out this little guy was flown to Washington state for adoption. A family from Canada adopted him. Now he's living his best life.

I wonder how dogs perceive, remember or think about changes like this.
Dog was no doubt sort of lonely and miserable in the pound, then, a short time later is having a blast working with his owner. Meeting new folks, on the water, endless stuff to sniff.....coming from the pound.
Do they remember? Are they "thankful"? Etc.
