Rams have a pretty complete roster, it's impressive. The Rams are also in a very interesting position where they seem to be actually serving two timelines and doing a great job at it. You have to draft VERY well to make that happen... and the Rams have been the best drafting team in the NFL for a few years now.

Things I'm wondering...

-Who's the backup QB? Do they take a flyer on a rehab project? Anthony Richardson? Will Levis? Players of that ilk? Or do they keep Jimmy G? Or get a different vet?

Who's the #3 WR? I don't think any of us believe that player is on the roster. Now.. they could go a couple of ways.. look for a bargain as they did with Demarcus Robinson a couple of years back, after all it's the 3rd WR. Or.. invest with a high draft pick? (If I made this call I would be doing everything I could to trade down from 13. I think there are mulitple WRs in the 2nd who can contribute immediately).

-Who is the 3rd tackle. This is a huge question and it can be answered in a couple of ways.. they could still look for an older vet to stand in.. or draft a tackle in the first three rounds this year.

-Who is Beaux Limmer? Is he a player? Is he Bobby Evans or is he Warren McClendon.. meaning is he a guy who can really develop into a plus starter on the inside? I think Center is the single position that could be upgraded the most on this roster at this point. I may be off on that.. Ilb next to Landman could be that. But.. yeah.. is Limmer developing?

-Who will start next to Landman? Will there be competition here?

It's a remarkably small list of concerns, tbh.

But.. I do think trading back and using some of that draft capital to fortify the Oline backups this year would be really, really smart.

I like the idea of Levis, but Tennessee would need to be willing to move him on the cheap to make him worth it. I expect they're going to go with Bennett for 2026. And I think in round 5ish they're going to draft their QB2ofthefuture, and then take a shot on QB1 in the 2027 draft.

I think WR3 will be drafted this year. If not then Smith is the player most likely to step up, but I would hope there's competition from Whit & Mump. But that is one role where the Rams can actually get direct year one contribution that affects the outcome of games, by drafting it.

OT3 is indeed a big question. Probably another drafted role. But if not then it's probably Quessenberry. Unless Arcuri magically has begun to finally figure out what he's doing.

Limmer I figure will get squeezed off this roster this year in cuts. Feels like he never recovered from that playoff performance and it's a shame but we probably see a couple OL coming in this draft plus maybe a hard look on the interior in the UDFA haul.

I'd like a CB2 type in the draft who can sub in if either starter misses time, or when McDuffie travels to the slot for specific matchups.

4/5 of our starting OL for this season are FAs. The one who is under contract has a history of blood clots. So yes OL is probably the top need group depending on who they plan on signing.

I feel like early in this draft the Rams will use picks to add to their offense, the defense was addressed in free agency. The Rams could add another ILBer in the middle rounds.

Pinch List:
-WR2B (Adams is on a pitch count)
-OT3
-QB2 (Jimmy G?)
-CB3/CB5 (Forbes as CB4)
-DE1B (Meat for run defense to augment Fiske)
-LB1B (pass coverage when 2 LBs are in)
Lock and load.

The only questions I have:

1. When are the Rams going to resign JimmyG.
2. What WR is going to be taken as our 13th pick.

After that whatever happens................ happens.
